Hi All,
I'm new to this site. I've enjoyed reading some of your posts, and see that you all get together periodically. Anybody over 40 out there, or will I have to pretend to be 30 something?

at most of the over 30's events in Munich there are a few over 40, and some of us are in denial that we are about the cross that line. I think that is one good thing about TT, no matter what age you are there is an event geared to you... welcome to TT.

Being closer to 50 than 40 I can only thank the 30-odds with tears of gratitude for putting up with me. Old is a mental state, not an age thing.
P.S. Your location is USA - any special reason for posting in the Berlin forum? Will you be moving to Berling soon?[/snoopy mode off]

why stop at 30? I like to think I am a 20 something. However some would disagree and say I behave more like a small child sometimes.

Great to hear from some of you! Yes, I'm thinking of moving to Berlin, or at least, coming for a few months and seeing what occurs. I don't think I can get away with being 20 something any more, but that's ok. Mind over matter. Do the different age groups do things together, or should I be looking out for any events that are for those 30 and older?

here in Munich, pretty much anything goes. Most meet-ups are non-discriminatory. Sometimes you get people organising for specific age groups like the over 30's or 18-24 year-olds but i think that sort of thing is lame. I have as many friends over 30 as i do in the under 30. Some even have grey hair!

It depends what you are into mate. I mainly hang around with my German friends and range for late 20's to over 50.
Opera frineds tend to be toward to older spectrum, whereas clubbing friends tend to be of the younger end, although in Berlin anything rocks.
