Does anybody know a local site like Shutterfly or Ophoto, where you can upload your digital photos online and order prints?

ofoto.de as well.

We have uploaded/ordered prints from Schlecker, Müller, & Rossmann. The
Schlecker &
Rossmann prints turned out good, but the ones from Müller could've been better. The only annoying thing was having to d/l the software from each company in order to upload pics, but if local pick up is what you're looking for, its a small price. As someone mentioned earlier ofoto.de (or kodakgallery.de either works) will also process and then send them to you.

Dear Colleagues!
Could you, please, give me a piece of advice about the cheapest and best service to print digital photos.
Maybe online?
With best wishes, Magellan.

Fotokasten has good quality and is really quick. If you order in the morning the photos arrive the next day in the post.

We have used
foto.com a few times. They seem quite cheap and are usually delivered in 1-2 days. They also do special offers on large format prints which seemed pretty good value when I last looked. Hope that helps!

www.snapfish.de 9cents per photo, they charge a foreign credit card OR send you a bill, the quality and packaging was amazing, they reply to enquiries super quick AND are fast in printing and sending!

Rossmann, 9 cent per photo, you can do it in store direct from your camera chip, or online. Quality is also good.
They had special offer on the other month 100 photos for 10 pounds.

Can anyone recommend a good photo printing service that allows me to have digital photos turned into prints? Ideally a web service that allows me to upload photos and delivers via post. Cheers.

What is a good place to print digital photos? I am looking for a place where you can upload the photos at home and pick up and pay at the store (so you don't have to pay for shipping). I have been going to
Rossmann's to print my photos, but it would be nice if I could do it directly from my computer at home rather than have to stand in the middle of the store hogging the photo machine for 30 minutes each time...

Not here but thought this might be helpful for someone. Walgreens offers a service that you can upload pictures so family/friends can get prints at their neighborhood walgreens. I haven't used the service myself but a friend of mine has and says its great... free and unlimited space.

Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get pictures printed into hard copy form. I have a ton of pictures from home and would really like to actually OWN them. Any ideas? Something like how one can do at Wal-Mart, Walgreens or Osco? Cheaply? thanks!

Hi,
Haven't been able to find anything on this in search so am just asking: does anyone here have any experience with online photo services other than Aldi? We have used them twice, and are very satisfied with the photos, but the upload process is extremely slow and twice it has failed to let us log in under our username to pay for the order, so each time we've had to re-register. It's a pain and means you have to select and upload all over again. I won't use them again and am looking for a good alternative. Any suggestions?
thanks,

Agree with SpiderPig; in my opinion, the main advantage of digital photography is that
you have control over how your photos look, rather than relying on the automatic settings of a commercial developer. The two stages of this are firstly altering, cropping etc. the image using photo-editing software and secondly printing it out yourself. A decent photo printer is no longer expensive, and will pay for itself in the long term.

I use pixmania, if you go onto .com it will show you where they deliver to. England and germany. I bought the large photo packs, and uploading can be time consuming, but they are saved in albums as you load them up. They are very reasonable, and I was very pleased with the quality, much better than my home printed one...I copied and pasted this from the pixmania.de website

I've used
1NIGHTPRINT.de a few times. Maybe not the cheapest, but have always been very happy with the quality, and they have generally delivered the next day so can't really get any quicker!

My woman uses some dodgy bit of software called cewe fotobuch or something. She builds albums, sends off some file or other, and then the glossy, printed photo albums retunr in the post. The end product is pretty good actually, but the software is German, and therefore completely unreliable and shit. Germans confuse " . " with " , " after all, so never, ever, ever trust them to program anything atall, whatsoever. Just look at state of SAP.
We use
Budni when we want to print photos. Whether 9 * 13 or A4 sized the quality has been good and delivery fast.
Yes - uploading is a bit of a pain & we usually need a couple of attempts but that may be because we do it once per year only...
have used
Kodak in the past and found they were good. And also
Saturn's photo service was good too

I always use
PhotodoseThey are brilliant and cheap!
They have this service that they get the best out of your photos, they "brush them up" and correct little flaws automatically.
I love it.

I tried Pixum and was very disappointed. Nothing near what you see on the screen, but if you just want to have quick and cheap prints without too much emphasis on quality that's probably OK. I asked them for printer profile files (.icc I think) to correct color display on the screen and they replied that they can't send them, came up with various BS excuses why they can't hand them over. Unprofessionality at its best.
I looked around and found
photo-druck.de, who have all this information, including two test images, online on their
help pages. Sent the same photos there and was very happy with the result.

Which online service do you suggest using here in Germany? I usually get photos from Photobox in the UK. I want to upload and order and then pay by direct debit from the bank here in germany (or überweisung). Any good or bad experience with particular sites?

try this website for a comparison of prices:
http://www.billige-fotos.de/there are more or less two Fotolabore, which are used by all services, one of which is fuji and they deliver good quality. so when a viriety of services has been tested, the result of the different services were pretty much the same. I usually go for
ROSSMANN.
if you are looking fo a nice gift for X-Mas look here. I ordered at all three of these services and the products were really value for money (and my family was impressed).
