Bad weather messing up Sky satellite TV reception

Info and advice on how to realign the dish

Hello All,

Any ideas on getting my channels back. I lost a few channels in the last couple of days due to the freak weather. The signal strength on the receiver is really good (looking at the signal strength measurement about 90-94%) but the signal quality has reduced somewhat to about 50%. I never used to receive BBC and ITV (Trees behind apartment) but I got a big dish to compensate for that.

I used to be able to watch paramount comedy, hallmark and the like (basically the channels on that footprint) but now it's gotten worse and the weather is absolutely great at the moment.

Does anyone have any ideas short of moving the dish elsewhere? That would mean a lot of work and speaking to my neighbours, which I'm not looking forward to.

Regards.

Woke up this morning and went to turn on my breakfast news as usual and couldn't get BBC or ITV, ahh i thought, that bloody storm must have knackered my dish mount.

Then i looked out of the window and all of this white shite everywhere, now i know why no Brekkie TV ! mad.gif
