Photographers and/or studios in Düsseldorf

Can anyone recommend a photographer or studio for my Bewerbungsfoto? I have tried to search the net or the yellow pages but I cannot seems to get anywhere. I would love a recommendation!

Can't you just take one yourself or get a friend to take a picture? How professional does this photo need to be?

Hey I don't know, this is my first German CV!! I have heard that due to the competetive nature of the German job market it is wise to use the best possible photo.

I don't know where in Düsseldorf you can take a studio photo, but for your CV it's better to have a proper photo. The quality of your photo is taken as a measure of something by german employers and it turns out to be important.

Try "Fotografie am Hofgarten" on Fischerstraße just after Inselstraße (U-Bahn Nordstraße, tram Sternstraße). They are pricey but very good. Do not skimp on your application photo, it is very important to have a good one.
