Bloody hell - the huge tree in the US Consulate compound right across the road from me just bent 45 degrees - luckily away from my balcony windows, seriously worrying!!
It's a bit like that here Hams. I've got a huge tree in my garden and all the little branches are flying off so I've just moved my van and car. My wheelie bins have took flight on several occasions.

Don't officially know what's going on with MVG or the S-bahns, but a co-worker who called a friend there said they are waiting about another hour before they can really decide to stop any lines from running. Because we have a lot of staff that needs to get home on the S-bahn or trains, our Personalabteilung getting the okay to us leave at 15h.
From my window I can see that the Trams are running, though.

It just got really really windy at Rosenheimplatz.
On a side note, I just went to the pharmacy to get some Zovirax, as I have a cold sore. Only, I didnt think they had zovirax in Germany, so I was trying to explain what a cold sore is, by slowing pronouncing it and point at the big manky growth I have near my nose. Only for the guy behind the counter to ask for his collegues help, they finally came to the answer and shouted it out loud a few times as they were pleased with their discovery that I have "herpes". People stopped and stared at me.. very embarrassing.
