I have a German work and residence permit.
My company wants me to work (<3 months) in Holland and then continue with my job in Germany.
Does anyone know if its legal for me to work in another EU country with German papers?
Appreciate any advice / help.

In your profile, you say that you are English. Since 1 Jan 2005 you don't need any residence or work permit for Germany (prior to that date you didn't need a work permit anyway).
Tax may be a different issue but I doubt it for a stay in NL of less than 6 months.
