Does anyone here have experiences with any of the fertility clinics in Munich? Or more specifically with IVF here?

From the Supporters' Ladies' Forum, I've quoted here a post of mine. Usually that wouldn't be a done thing to quote from a supporters' thread but seeing as I wrote it, I can quote it, right?
QUOTE (Katrina @ May 29 2006, 7:46 am)

Dr Lesoline in Bogenhausen does my yearly tests - he's a endocrine gynaecologist, speaks English and French as well as German and is a nice bloke. ... While he probably isn't the right address for an initial check, should anyone need a specialist in the field, this guy is worth a look.
While I have no experience of IVF, as an endocrine ob-gyn he's a good one.

The websites can be viewed in English as well.

Thanks for those links!
@elfenstar...Well you probably shouldn't assume things about people you don't know, but just for your information... I NEED IVF to have a baby, and I am starting to look into it now because we wanna start trying next fall. And don't worry, I have very valid reasons for wanting to get pregnant at my 'wee age.'

Hi... I have a great OB/GYN who studied and specialized in the US in IVF. Her name is Margarita Summerer Moustaki, 089-65-53-86. Schonstrasse 8, 81543 Munich. Dr. Summerer Moustaki speaks English, Greak and German native and Spanish quite well.
I had a horrible experience with the previously mentioned physician. I felt he cared more for my private insurance than me.
Good luck

Another clinic - have done some translation work for them but no direct experience that would actually be useful for you, sorry!

As I write this I am holding our 7 month old son, conceived via IVF at the Kinderwunsch clinic in Pasing/Munich. This is the clinic mentioned by Crusoe. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. And I would feel the same even if the IVF had not worked the first time. The entire staff is very professional and friendly. The doctors are great and the technology is state of the art. We met with Dr. Fiedler, who speaks English well, but I think he is more comfortable in German. If you don't speak any German, you may want to ask for an appointment with Dr. Wuerfel. He worked at the University of Chicago and is fluent in English. I wish you the best of luck with this!

Thanks for your new responses! We have chosen to go to the clinic at Grosshadern...we went ot a beratungs gespräch and were pretty impressed with the facilities and after speaking wiht my GYN he agreed that for our case, Grosshadern would be the best. Thanks again for the suggestions!

I have to say a word about my favourite doc Dr.Lesoine in Prinzregentenstr.
He is a specialist, he is great, speaks fluent english and they do IVF...with very good success rates.
Good luck
