good one. No, they're German and are not on TT. I have class with them tonight so I could casually ask if they're going to Los Banditos on Friday.

I was just going to suggest voting this "Most Confusing Thread of the Week".

Edit: For the record, no I will not be joining you as I do not meet your age requirements. I was merely offering a suggestion for a location. Best of luck to you all. I'm sure once you get the details figured out, you'll have a great time out.

Suggest you make life easy on yourselves and just pick one of the suggested spots and go with it. No place or date will suit all people.

Say, Los Banditos, Friday 19th, 8pm and take it from there. You could start a new thread and ask Ed Bob to put a sign-up sheet in. Ring the place today as Friday's are busy there and make a reservation for 10 people under the name Kim Wilde and then you can change the numbers as needs be.

Incidentally, if LB says they can't take the booking you could try C.A.D.U. It's central and popular with the younger crowd.

You don't need German. I've made reservations there before using English. Or at least pick a time and I'll make the call for you.

That's what you get when you take a generation totally accustomed with internet, mobiles, GPS-navigation... this decision making is that clouded, you make me feel like a bloody grandpa!

A bit of "old school" advice: never make a poll where to meet, just set a place, after the third pitcher no one cares how whatever shitty the place might be anyhow; never look for someone organising something for ya, call them up yourself, they WILL understand you and if they don't, just call the next place or keep ordering by sign-language the rest of the night. It's really not that hard...

We can all frollick along, however I was under the impression that this meeting of new people was getting a bit lose at the edges and a sign up sheet has to include ALL relevant details and so would result in there being a definitive answer set in stone for people's questions.

EDIT: piss up and brewery come to mind.

Reservation is confirmed for 10 people on Friday at 7pm under the name Wilde.

A sign-up list is useful if people use it. It'll give you a better chance of knowing if you need to change the reservation and it's an easy way for new people to get a foot in.

You have been so kind today organising this event for them.

argh ok am a tad scared of meeting loads of ppl at once (speshly as u all seem to know each other!) and also am not entirely sure if i can have friday off yet, these are my two major problemos. i have been reading your thread though and mite end up coming. probably won't know til friday though.
