This thread will mosey on, failing in it's expressed purpose until Keydeck organises the great newbie roundup of '07 and they will all be branded and driven in a cloud of dust into a random pub west of the Pecos (or east of the
Isar)
Then Keydeck will adjust his stetson, spit some baccy juice and drawl "Hell, all they needed was a little bit a' the old search function" and ride off into the S-Bahn.

Feb 15 2007, 2:22 pm
half the problem is that we all already know each other so really what is needed is email addresses to invite people to stuff? and for 'real' new people to be on this board... if you see what I am getting at?

I would organise a meetup for fri or sat, but as im going to gigs both nights someone else can...
Keydeck
Feb 15 2007, 2:23 pm
I'm simply beginning to suspect that this thread is the meetup for 18 to 24 year olds...and some of us old fogies of course. For actually arranging to go out somewhere they need to look elsewhere.
I'm going to the pub just now, anyone coming?

It's not every day a young lady offers up her peaches to the masses.

In the interests of PC and equality a young male TT newbie should step forward and present his plums.

philly we were wondering if you wanted to come to amsterdam on weekend or have you got your heart set on these gigs!

amsterdam would be awesome but as iv spent 50euro on tickets i best make the most of them. remember to call in the sex museum. theres a "hardcore" section at the back with yellow n black chevrons painted on the wall

Dudes and dudettes,
A word of advice: you can't seem to get it together for a night out in Munich. If you set your sights on Amsterdam then some of you will be meeting up around the back of the city hall in Murmansk, last Tuesday.

such details i love it

No you don't; there are loads of 18-24 year-olds who are reading this thread and who don't know anybody and who are put off by comments like that. Just look at the profiles of the people reading this page at any given time. Organise an event at a suitable time a week in advance,
don't appear too cliquey and you'll get them out.
butler_helen
Feb 15 2007, 2:58 pm
sorry consider me told off!
righty so next week I do want to do something. For those that were at either of the previous
los bandidos events. I say los bandidos next friday (drinks are cheaper) from 7.30pm onwards? I know I have been PMing some new people who I am sure want to do something so PM me if you want to come and I will arrange it
thats a week in advance, a time and a place!
Helen
Or...and here me out her!
You could all agree to go the the next TT event, one that includes even the 'old' folk. That way, you are all in your cosy wee group of 18-24 year olds doing your 18-24 year old 'thing' but you have the possibility to introduce yourself and possibly enjoy the company of some of the 'older' members, and trust me they're not all that bad.
Killing 2 birds with one stone, you're all together, and you didn't organise it!!!
RESULT!

Helen, that kinda defeats the purpose of including new people. If you are organising and event for all 18-24 year olds, or whoever, then usually it's better to do so on the open forum where people can see what it is. If it's just done via PM then those new people who might not have their DOB in their profile won't know it's on.

That wasn't sarcasm, that was an honest offer of assistance. If you can't see that, you must be blind.

Yo details for tonight are as follows.
Meet at Hoffbräu House at 8.30.
Few beers then on to
Americanos for cocktails!
Girls pay 8€ entrance and drink for free all night, guys pay 4€ entrace and drinks are pretty cheap and damm strong.
Plus the waitress there is really hot!! Worth a look for 4€

It is a mates birthday so come ready to party - dress code is smart casual for Americanos (i think)!
If you want to meet new people or just get wasted this is a plan for heute abend!
If your keen to come drop me a line at
matthew.rutter@esvedra-consulting.com
I will pass on my mobile to you once i get a confirmation!
