Keydeck
Does he not have a passport, or was that in his wallet?
cabbagefairy
Nver got a passport as he doesn't travel out of the EU.
bern
No passport? That's an alien concept to me. I've had one since I was a few days old.

yup i sure was.

My bf got his wallet stolen in austria so I'm hoping he will be able to come without it, I'll get IDed for sure.

I thought that everyone in the EU has an identity card?
Keydeck
Presumably his ID card was in his wallet, Helen. And no, not everyone in the EU has an ID card.

Bern I know quite a few German's who do not have an actual passport. If you're only travelling within the Schengen countries, and a few others besides, you won't need one, your ID card will suffice for mosts eventualities.
cabbagefairy
yup sure was, along with his student card, license, money...and worst of all... the menu for the pizza shop ohmy.gif
Keydeck
Ach, the innocence of youth. You should always keep the source of the food separate from the source of paying for it. Sheesh! rolleyes.gif
parnell
Presumably cabbagefairy was not hiding in the wallet keydeck.

EDIT: In any case all GOOD food comes from one source: Mammy.
Keydeck
Too true sir, too true.
butler_helen
There is now a sign up sheet. I thought I should add that, incase anyone had missed its arrival.

Perhaps. But when I was traveling around Europe as a wee lass, there were no open borders like there are now. You had to have a passport to go from Germany to Austria or anywhere else. Plus, I traveled overseas as well. I'm the exception rather than the rule but still. Can only speak from my own experience.
Kay
Yes, I remember that even within Western Europe in most cases you needed a passport.
HelterSkelter
Since I had an inside view on this establishment for a couple of month, let me tell you, they check as intense for ID as a blind would look for a 3D cinema.

Edit: This was I must admit about 5 years ago...
Keydeck
Funny you should mention that because when I see the username Butler_Helen, I always think of Helen Keller.
HelterSkelter
HAHAHA!!! laugh.gif Me too mate, me too!
Keydeck
Your name makes me sing, but the oddest username connection I have is from the Stitch n' Bitch thread. Someone whose name always looks to me like "Emma's Clitoris".
HelterSkelter
A whole new meaning to the Stitch n' Bitch... gotta look him/her up!
butler_helen
laugh.gif

EVERYTHING I ever register online I do under butler_helen, as my school used that as my internet password when I was 11... it has stuck around. Makes life easy. What makes you think of Helen Keller from butler_helen?!
Keydeck
Possibly the word Helen and the fact that both surnames end in 'ler'.
butler_helen
righty... oki poki... weird connection.
Keydeck
Helen Butler
Helen Keller

You can't see it? Are you blind?
cabbagefairy
hahaha I think its pretty clear ...u may end up with a nickname yet!
butler_helen
I got it.

I just think tis a strange connection to make? unsure.gif

seeing as the friday drinks is finially sorted (thanks to the godfather of TT, keydeck) anyone interested in meeting up in the day, go to a park play frisbe, football, table tennis etc. i know there are already organized events for these, i was just thinking something a little less informal.

Or maybe as the weather is so good at the moment, a day trip by bikes somewhere out of munich. train is good also, shouldn't cost much. just would be nice to see more of munich.
cabbagefairy
ooo since theres lots of people now we could go on those cheap 5 person tickets somewhere!!!
cantthinkofawittyname

Less informal, so should we wear a tux? tongue.gif
Matt9882
Yeah Trust Tomy needs his new toy. See you guys at poker tonight! Boys only! (please dont start a usual crazy debate about sexism that usually happens the minute someone says anything remotly controversial, its just an opinion everyone on this website knows how to give them unfortunately not enough know how to accept them.)

Loving it

my bad, i actually ment a little less formal NOT informal. i was thinking somthing of everything not just one sport or place. maybe like a saturday where people arent doing anything and just want to meet up and have fun and do something different whether its a day trip or going to a park to play.
JOB
Love to join you, but my good lady is taking me out to celebrate me 24th b'day...I'm almost too old to go!!!

Have fun!
cantthinkofawittyname
Sounds like a plan RT. This sat is a possibility but i guess depends how much alcohol is consumed on friday night! unsure.gif

Oh yes, something that doesnt involve heavy drinking! Like it. Saturday or maybe sunday would be nice? smile.gif
butler_helen
Ok so I can't make 6...7...or even 8... though I can make it around 9pm, all because I misunderstood the flight details my boyfriend sent me- I was having a 'moment' when I read them! So I will still ring and arrange 15 instead of 10 people cool.gif

H
cabbagefairy
Ill be there around 9 too
tracy
am i right in thinking i should get off at goethe platz and then wander down to thalkirchner strasse til i find the place? or has anyone got ne better directions?
cantthinkofawittyname
It's closer to Poccistraße and Implerstraße but more ways to get lost from those Ubahns. Was gonna post a map on the other thread but gay IE6 at work doesn't like the new Toytown. I'll do it when i get home unless someone else does before that.
HelterSkelter
Since uncle Keydeck seems to have abandoned you, let uncle HelterSkelter help you out, so yous guys can get together, mingle and do whatever shit...

Possible copyright infringement removed by admin. See guidelines.

Take U3 or U6, get out at Poccistr., walk down all the Zenettistr. (there is only one and it only runs in one direction...), take a right at the end and you found the Los Banditos (sorry, only german).

Edit: For those who don't wanna walk, the 152 Bus stops in front of the Los Banditos.
tracy
cheers! hopefully the sbahn will be running tomorrow, ours has stopped at the moment, dunno if thats the same everywhere?
cantthinkofawittyname
Nooo! dont start another thread about the hurricane! tongue.gif The Ubahn still works tho (i guess thats a bit of a 'no shit' comment)

Really sorry about that. I'll be along this evening to assist with directions to the toilet, menu translations and advice on which cocktail goes best with burritos con pollo. Oh and if anyone needs cash just let me know and I'll sort you out with a few bob. rolleyes.gif

That looks like a Stadtplandienst segment. We got hit with a fine for using those before. So anyone who needs it, grab a copy before it gets removed.
Keydeck
Los Bandidos have just confirmed the change in the reservation. She asked if the 'e' at the end of Wilde was pronounced or not. I told her that it was Wilde, like Oscar, but we all know it's Kim really, right wink.gif
butler_helen
thank-you keydeck! I did try three times yesterday, however had no reply... I think it was maybe because I spoke in English?

huh.gif Which of the online maps are legal to post? What is an online-map good for if you can't share it? dry.gif
Keydeck
Dunno what's legal and what's not, just that Stadtplandienst ain't.

Here's a map link from the TT Los Bandidos page.
bluedave
Awwww, you'll make someone a lovely mother one day KD wink.gif
