Affordable badminton courts

I've heard that badminton is everwhere in berlin. Great!!! I can't seem to find "everywhere" on my map...

I live 1/2 km north of the big roundabout with the big tall gold thingy on top (Grosser Stern??) and we've only found one badminton place near us, the "sport oasis." It had cheap membership rates if you're going to be here for a year, but short of that you have to pay the hourly rate of E20/hr!!!

Anyone know where there is affordable badminton access in berlin? Both my gf and I play and we'd play enough to use a membership, if they have short ones. We'd also be willing to go a couple stations or take a bike ride to find an affordable court.

Also, anyone know any affordable gyms near us?

I'm unsure of where one can play badminton, but i'd like more information about the place you went. Even at 20Euros per hour (that's pretty steep) my level of committment is not so strong, and i think i'd be willing to pay that price for the once-per-month game or so. For that price, do they have available equipment or do you have to bring your own?

Jilleta, I'll grab a pamphlet next time I'm there. I can't remember exactly where it is (enought to direct you now) but next time I walk by there I'll get the info for you. If you're going to be here for a while it seemed that their membership rates were pretty decent. And if you become a member, you won't have to look far to find a partner!!

Anyone else know of another affordable club???
