My apartment is lacking in light. The only real light it has is one of those cheap floor lamps that project a really bright light upwards on to the ceiling. Since we have 2 rooms we'd like to get another but after going to about 10 shops we haven't found anything! Except uber expensive and too trendy stuff at europacenter.
I know they exist, there's one in my apartment! The bulbs are everywhere, where are the halogen floor lamps???
Thanks in advance.

Hey Tom!
We bought our floor uplighters in
Hoeffner and they were quite cheap! Can't remember how much exactly (a year ago) but they do the job, have a reading lamp attachment as well and dimmers. They came in several colours too. The store also offers a bonus card which you can get at check-out for free and receive about 3% discount immediately.
Hope this helps!

Hi Tom. Have you tried IKEA?

yeah. i second marshol. IKEA and Bauhaus, I think the cheapest baumarkt, are next to each other 10 minutes walk from Ring-bahn Südkreuz. And there is a shuttle every 15 minutes to and from the IKEA store.
If the IKEA doesn't have what you want or can use, the bauhaus should.
