Does anyone know how much it costs to get a call by call itemised telephone bill from Deutsche Telekom?

I don't think it can be done.

It can be done, but it does cost a bit unless there is a dispute of the bill. Dispute the bill and then ask for them to provide the evidence.

Nothing - I've had one since the beginning, but you have to ask, as you don't get it by default. It's called
Einzelverbindungsübersicht (EVÜ). There are two types -
verkürzt (truncated) and
unverkürzt (verbose). The former will have the last three digits of the number removed, the latter not.
There's a form to fill out
here. Take it to your local T-Punkt or post it to the Customer Service address on your bill. Of course, this only takes effect for future bills.

It can also be requested online.. And while your there you can sign-up to get your Monthly bill delived to you online (Per Email) also..
I think DT will even give you 5-10 Eur for doing it..

Be careful with this, I beleive if you wish to offset your phone bill against tax, the on-line bill is not recognised by the Tax office (Finanzamt). I'm sure I read this when I considered doing it a while back.

Actually, Telekom explicitly say that it must be requested in writing, as a signature is required on legal grounds.
But I agree, the online billing is normally much more convenient.

Bzzztt... Wrong answer...
I have had Rechnung Online for the last 4 years. Every year I print out the PDF's and hand'em over to the Tax advisor who includes
them with the stuff sent to the Finanzamt.. They accept them, do there thing, and I get $ back.. With many things being bought/sold
online now and only providing Online reciepts, the Finanzamt is much more lienient now adays with this than they were many years ago..
I also do this for my Internet provider, as they also only provide their monthly bills via Email...

Yup...DT Rechnung Online are now sent packaged with a digital signature which is accepted by the Finanzamt (to be honest, I've never had problems even without the digital signature)

So when did they start this service?
Not The Beginning, but the beginning ie. when I first got a phone here, about 10 years ago.
I've no idea when they first started it.

Thanks for your help. Just called DT - fill out this form and fax or post it back and future bills will be fully itemised for FREE. You can also request previous bills as far back as you like for FREE.

Is this because you use your phone line and connection for your business? Or can private stuff be written off (I am doubtful).

If its business related (Not as if they actually track) hint hint wink wink... You can write it off..
Or just tell'em your work requires it cause you have to VPN in and fix stuff or do teleworking etc. etc..
