No, the first time was with a cheapoid rubbishy thing, so I wasn't that bothered.
This was quite a nice one though; I'll miss it! It could be pretty much anywhere because my sense of direction is rubbish at the best/soberest of times, so there's little point in me going to search for it.

Serves me right I suppose.

@Sin - So a trip to the land of Toulouse-Lautrec turned into a Toulouse Loo-trek. That has a kind of beautiful artistic symmetry. Though of course Toulouse-Lautrec was more into the can-can than the can.

Are you sure the steak tartare was to blame? Did you fly Lufthansa? I had a very bad experience a couple of years ago with a Lufthansa in-flight sandwich on a flight to Florence. It must have been the sandwich, there was no other possible culprit.

I am unhappy at the moment because a guy I used to date about two years ago came by randomly and rang my doorbell. I don´t want to talk to him, so I didn´t let him in, and he started yelling outside the building. I am not frightened of him, but I don´t like uncomfortable scenes. Now I have my curtains closed and I hope he goes away before I take Tobi out for his walk. Yucky.

Wigan...you did the right thing if that helps at all. Losing a bike is one thing...losing your driver's license is another (I assume you have one). you can big up a bike for a 100 Euros or so...a DWI could cost you in the thousands.

tired after Champagne thursday with the roommate i like, but it was needed after my dog was a little brat during agility. ugh! we had 6 good weeks without negative reactions, but last night he snap at a dog he's fine with and a 100lb Doberman.

Because the Harry Potter series is now over, no more books to look forward to for two years!

I have only read the first one and it was the first real book I read in german, maybe thats why I didn't bother reading more of them...

Yeah I finished it like half an hour ago.

I read the first three in German because my parents and brother read them, and I first didn't know what the fuss was all about, but I got sucked into it too after I read the second. I prefer the English version, also because it is released a few months before the German one but it is the original, not a translation.

What else would it be then?

What do you mean? The translation would be the translation. Where names of characters are changed and sometimes the text is also changed to be idiomatic in German. But not what the author wrote. Sometimes puns are lost etc.

i can't figure out when i can take days off of work.
some ass who was on the kickball team (one of my roommates friends) won't pay me the flipping $30 for being on the team (and the leaugue ended months ago) and now claims he doesn't have to! my other roommate owes me almost $300 and is being a pain about paying that!
I have to prepare lesson plans and homework for a crap dog class (i hate show ring obedience and i think it's stupid! can i just go into class tomorrow saying that?) when what i prefer is spending both hours with the first class. the people are better and so is the material!
this is just the tip of the iceberg, but i better get back to work.

Thanks to my own stupidity I twisted my ankle this morning, so I had to go home from work 6 hours early. I better be able to work tomorrow.
It's not even swollen but it hurts pretty bad. Blah!

Ankle is bugging me, though it does seem better than yesterday, and I barely got any sleep last night, and am so tired, but have loads of stuff to do. I need a break!

Just pisses me off that I've finally decided to go running regularly, spent a lot of money on shoes etc, and then I sprain my ankle? And not even in a heroic manner!!! And of course it happens during the week that I have to (want to) work full time.

Had a minor misunderstanding with a wasp today... hand hurts. (The wasp was sitting on my lap, I didn't notice and put my hand on my leg... picture the rest. ) Can't say I can blame the wasp, I wouldn't have wanted to get crushed either, but it was my leg the damn thing was sitting on!

Because it's a gorgeous day and I'm forbidden by my doctor to do ANY exercising. That includes walking, folks. And the positions he told me to sit/lie in are making other parts of my back hurt just as bad as the first part.

Sorry to hear that Redhead. Although I know I'm much bigger than a mouse, I'm terrified of them. If I were to see a mouse in my apartment tonight I wouldn't be able to sleep and the mouse will have the whole apartment as I would be outta here.
