I had acupuncture as a last resort for my allergies and it worked...maybe worth a try?
Interesting. Hmm, dont like the idea of getting poked though.

I have a cold and my friend who visits me once a month came back.
However, I got a lot of shit done in the last couple of days, and that makes me extremely happy! I moved apartments, got my room about 80% completed, bought furniture/room stuff and carried it home myself, paid my rent, got my family's Europe trip organised, got some shit sorted out with my language school, went to a fucking good party, got a new Anmeldung, got into my flatmates' and their friends' good books, and now, I am cooking a fucking delicious roasted chicken for everyone in my new apartment.
Yeah. Go me. Woo!

I need to vent...
A friend from work moved into our house share and has cause serious problems between us and our landlord. So the story goes: Our lease states no parties so when she asked about having a house warming party. We said have one but wrap it up early enough around 1 am so we don't get into any trouble. She rang the rental agency to ask if it was okay to have the party and claimed that we told her no. Her ex boyf rang the agency also saying we had her in tears after refusing to have the party. Now the agency are "in discussions" with the landlard re renewing our lease up in July.
We've asked our house mate not to have to party as her under hand dealings have made alot of friction in the house. We have also requested that she find an alternative place to live as we cannot continue living with someone who won't listen or respect our wishes.
Ah I feel a little better now..

I am so very very sad that my favorite TV show has now come to an end. After six seasons spanning 8 and a half years - with multiple slayings, torture, suicides, you name it - The Sopranos is drawing to a close. The show has broken new ground for television, won numerous Emmy awards and has been a huge critical and commercial success (I'm surprised Toytown never had a thread for this). The demise of TV's bad man, Tony Soprano, leaves an empty space in many Sopranos fans lives - so many people actually showed a fondness for the evil one and his business "Family". I'm going to miss all the characters I've grown to love, and I'll miss guest appearances like Steve Buscemi, Lauren Bacall, Ben Kingsley, Joe Pantoliano, Julianna Margulies to name a few.
As a matter of fact I have no idea what exactly happens to Tony Soprano. The final episode airs on HBO tonight with a lot of people tuning in. His "demise", played by James Gandolfini, will be uncertain if at all, but most certainly the TV show itself will be sadly missed by so many. As far as Tony's actual final outcome in tonight's last episode goes, that is yet to be seen and if and when I know I won't spoil it for everybody else (although it appears you're the only other person here on TT that show interest in The Sopranos, Ruthie). It was a bit presumptuous for me to say that Tony Soprano will be gone (as in 'deceased') when he might end up surviving in the last episode. Remember the end of season six part one where Agent Harris warned Tony of a likely assassination of a high ranking family member that will undoubtedly lead to a mob war between the New York and North New Jesey Families? Things have developed a lot since then so who knows what the final outcome will be. Interestingly the show's creator, David Chase, has mentioned a possible feature film of The Sopranos - according to rumor that is. So who knows, Tony Soprano and his two families making it onto the big screen? I don't think Christopher Moltisanti's Hollywood connections will be responsible now that he's not around.

I'm unhappy today (and angry, but that is for the 'Vent' thread) because Poopy, my cat, got hit by a car last night (and I heard the whole horrible thing - the car, the thud and the crying cat). Luckily, she is going to be OK (after some very tense moments and a trip to the TierKlinik in Neufahrn). She was not kept there overnight and she seems better today. She was extremely lucky.

Yes, they were great. We called first. They tell you to call the cell number given on the message and then that person meets you at the clinic. This was Sunday night at around 8:30. The only reason I knew to go there was because of Emily (and I had seen the ad in the Lohhof Anzeiger a week ago and tore it out for future reference). So, thank you Sara and Emily!

Sometimes the xtra 4 pins just slide up/down off of the main 20. It might take a little force. Backwards compatibility.. gotta love it.. Unless Dell cut costs by not using 2 part plugs..

Yep. I'm already suffering from panic attacks now (I miss those goddamn ducks). And I miss Paulie Walnuts's gems of wisdom too.
Paulie: I can't stand touching fucking shoelaces. Ever go to tie your shoes and you notice the end of your laces are wet? From what? Why would they be wet? Silvio: I've got no fucking idea. Paulie: You go to public bathrooms. You stand at the urinals -- Hesh: Oh fuck. Come on will ya. Paulie: He's asking me and I'm telling him and frankly it's important. Even if the lace is dry and you don't touch the body of the shoe, bacteria and virus migrate from the sole up. Christopher: You see this on TV? Paulie: I gotta watch TV to figure out the world? Your average men's shithouse is a fucking sewer. You look at lady's johns you can eat maple walnut ice cream from the toilets. Eh! There's exceptions. But a men's? Piss all over the fucking floor, urinals jammed with cigarettes and mothball cakes. They can pour all the fucking ice they want down there, my friend, it does nothing to kill germs. Even if you keep your shoes tied, and you're not dragging your laces through urine -- Silvio (trying to eat): Oh, shut the fuck up!
