Sorry to hear everyone's news above. At least we all have TT!
I am unhappy today as I would like to contact an very old friend from years ago and I am having trouble stalking her (unlike me she does not blab her personal life all over the net

). Still, I think I have tracked her down on myspace and sent her an email, hope she responds (no, we have no mutual friends or such). Sigh, I hate feeling rejected.
You ´re not rejected by us, we all like you.

In eight minutes I have to spend the next half hour monitoring a public school lunchroom facility catering to the gastronomic and social needs of 400+ 12- and 13-year-olds, many of which tend to the unruly, a few of which seem well on their way to becoming despicable young adults. Of course this unhappiness trigger pales in comparison to those descibed in prior postings... but lunch duty still sucks ass.

Why - when something is so obvious that strangers in a bar are telling you the same, that some idiot has to deny everything he feels and make life difficult! It's driving me crazy and I'm fed up with all the men in my life - thankfully getting rid of one or two very soon!

No idea why I am unhappy today, but I bloody well am. Feel like shit. Woke up with a headache, dropped a whole carton of milk on the floor and haven't stopped crying since. So I am literally crying over spilt milk

You know, I've been exactly the same the past couple of days (except I didn't drop a carton of milk- I dropped a 500 Euro camera

). I've been crabby and upset about stupid little things and have been on the verge of tears. And I hate it.

all the above. Stuffed up nose, small fever, body ache, sneezes.

Heat up a beer til it's as hot as a nice cup of tea, then chug it as quickly as you can. Then hop into bed and let it work its magic. It will knock you out cold and apparently you sweat out all your yucky cold toxins from your body. If it doesn't work, don't blame me, blame the East Germans- it's their stupid home remedy. (But it does seem to work).

Perdido, drink lots of liquids, possibly some warm chicken soup, stay under the covers, keep warm and try sweating it out, and get a good night's sleep. I probably sound like your mom now.

I absolutely agree: Chicken = protein; noodles = carbs/starch/energy; broth = liquid; pepper = spice --> sneeze your head off, loosen the snuck; heat = sleep. Now I sound like MY Ma, and she's 69 a week from now.
P.S. Add onions. They're good for you, I just can't remember why. I think they stretch your arterties, get the blood flowing freely.

I have a terrible stomach ache because I ate more than a half bar of dark bitter chocolate this afternoon.
That means: over 85% cocoa.
Read: "supposed to be healty"... "good for blood vessels, good for the heart, the skin and hair, excellent for fighting bad cholesterol concentration (I ate two eggs for breakfast - bad cholesterol, right?)".
But right now I am not sure: is it healthy or not? (***cuddles up like a cat and suffers / horrible stomach pains going on, and getting worse and worse... )

Wanted to go see 'Flags of Our Fathers' tonight (well am more interested in seeing the second part: 'Letters from Iwo Jima' but it's not out yet) in the original version not the crappy dubbed version however the local cinema only shows one original language film per week and 'Flags of our Fathers' it aint. They had better show it in the original some time in the next few weeks or you guys may just read of a crazy red-haired baseball-bat wielding Australian going on a rampage throughout movie theatres in the Ruhrgebiet in the not too distant future!
I can understand German just fine but I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE watching dubbed films with a passion.

You are not unhappy, you are venting.
Go directly to The Vent, do not make a pass at other members, do not collect 200 free minutes.
It'll be out on DVD soon anyway.
I am unhappy because I cannot soak in a hot bath with orange and linden extract for the next three days.
