OK, I feel better now. My anger at my bike was taken out on the MVV ticket dodger!!

I do ride my bike but, it has been pretty cold at 7 am to ride 15km and I normally ride a different bike. I guess this one needs a tune up!

I am unhappy because I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, which basically means that my immune system is attacking my thyroid gland. Nothing that can't be treated, but I dislike the concept of Star Wars in my throat area.

I'm very sad actually because 1. one of my closest friends wrote that his mother died on Saturday. 3 years ago when I first came to Germany and didn't know many people in Europe then, she invited me to Nice for New Year's eve together. She was a CFO of a big bank and was retiring in a year's time and we talked about her plans for her retirement yet only 2 years' into retirement, they found out that she has terminal cancer last month, and she died on Saturday. I don't know but I think Life is so cruel. 2. I'm struggling with issues with myself which is affecting my partner. I hope he will understand me and will stay with me.

After three weeks of waiting for the owner of my once-to-be future flat, she now tells me she won't give me the bloody flat. Why on earth she didn't tell this just three weeks ago, or two or whatever? Now I'm effectively flat-less and have to start looking again.

My boyfriend and I had planned to have a relaxing, quiet 4-day weekend and get some projects done around the house, do some bike riding, etc. But, yesterday, he got hit in the eye with a squash ball (yes, he already got the lecture about protective glasses) and now he's in the hospital and it looks like he will be there over the long weekend... and we don't know how badly damaged his eye is (most importantly).

Work up this morn, thought I was well late, had a turbo shower, legged it to the u-bahn, jumped on the train and then my phone alarm went off. Arrived at work an hour early. That is an entire hour of sleep that I've lost...not a happy chappy

with reference to the above, it seems to have been the night for it, as I woke up at 4am, had my shower and got ready for work, only to look again at my watch and realise I was 2.5 hours early! needless to say, I am now around 3 hours down on sleep! pretty funny though?

because now that i've handed in my notice my bosses have just left me to rott in the attic room and not given me any work to do, in fact they've taken files off me! i'm soooo BORED!!! I have to put up with a month of this...

OK, last rant today: They purposely withheld my income from last month. My ex-boss told the accountant to not pay me for a week or two.

I'm pissed that this girl taking over my apartment kept delaying giving me money for my furniture she wants to take over. She gave the excuse that she cannot überweise the money in Hamburg. Where does she think I'm from??! I went the extra mile to leave office earlier that day when she wanted to see my place even tho I have already put in the ad that flat viewing was on another day; when she liked my place, I recommended her to my estate management (even though I don't know her) and again, I made time for her again when she got the contract. Why can't she bloody give me the money for the furniture like she said she will?? And why only when I asked her the third time if she has transferred the money, that she came up with some lame excuse that she cannot transfer money in Hamburg. CRAP! Anyway, it's her loss. I need to buy new furniture if I had sold mine to her, and it is cheaper for me to move the furniture than to buy new ones.

G died last night. He survived 1 week with the zoo and me. poor guy. RIP G the Gold fish.
