Why are you unhappy today?

It was a long weekend in UK and it was pouring all this time! Horrible weather.

Because it's my fourth day of not smoking cigarettes and i'm going through horrible withdrawals.

That's a very painful situation to come to realize that someone you want you just simply can't have. But if you were his wife you will feel very betrayed if you found out he was having an affair.

I draw the line at intentional or unintentionally hurting someone else's feeling for my own selfish needs.

Well, i'm sat in Bristol and it's absolutely lashing it down instead of enjoying the Munich sun.

Better still, i'm sat in an office ( read portakabin building ) where the ceiling tiles were found on the floor when we came in this morning as the leaking roof had got them so sodden that they collapsed under their own weight.

So, we now have the maintenance guys using a stanley knife to slash open the roof lining and water is pouring into wheeley bins and file drawers and whatever else they can assemble below the ceiling.

Us, the workers?

We have been requested to get our computers out of the danger area and find somewhere else to sit for the day, in the same office mind you.

Summary : Workers cutting through the ceiling releasing gallons of water into an office packed with computer equipment where the ceiling lights are also still on.

Said portakabin was built over 10 years ago for an envisaged 3 year maximum term and was also officially condemned by the site engineer 16 months ago.

You couldn't make it up!

And we wonder why the UK is going down the pan?

Because there is no way my husband will want to live in the gorgeous house I have just viewed. He wants to move nearer to the city, not further away. Bah!

Because I'm moving out of Munich on Sunday, and I'm having to leave my dear friends and my boyfriend behind.

Because I've just been called back out to work earlier than planned. And I can't and shouldn't bitch about it because my manager really fought for me to have this time off so I could go out to Munich. The least I could do is go back out a couple weeks early to help out since they're getting busy. Bah! Just when I was starting to get into the whole 'Lady of Leisure' thing too. Ah well...

Mine too, but that's not why I am unhappy today, but for the past year and a half...

Cuz I just realized after over a month of "de-toxing" diet chemicals out of my system, I bought diet coke yesterday instead of normal coke without realizing it and drank half of it without even noticing. Well, until I looked around my desk this morning and saw the half-empty bottle.

Hon, that sounds like a serious drinking problem! Stick to the red wine.

Probably should. I didn't even notice until I was looking for something to help recover from the mai-tai's last night!

Because I behaved idiotically yesterday and hope I haven´t created distance to a couple of friends.

Found a dead bird (actually turned out it was two small ones, one under the other) on my balcony today. But I guess it was a good thing I found them now, before they started decomposing and smelling bad. And good thing my roommate's dad who's here visiting got rid of the bird for me.

And a friend told me she had her purse snatched last week. Cellphone, lots of money, all gone. How crappy. I am glad she didn't get hurt, though. I've read some bad stories about purse snatchings that resulted in knocked out teeth and other injuries.

I'm so tired.
I am more than tired, I am exhausted. I might not need a lot of sleep, but I do need some.

I have a nasty headache.

We have just had the shocking news that our colleague drowned while on holiday in france:( And it's Scog's wake tonight too...turning into a pretty sad week.

Beacsue my fiance and I have busted ass and gone out of our way to get ridiculous documents for the registrar, and now she is agruing with the US embassy demanding a document Americans do not have. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I don't know what to do anymore. Im about to just give both organizations boxing gloves. LOL. We just want to be married. Why is it so hard to get married here, when in the US any dumb a%% can sign a paper and pay 50 bucks.

Serenajean, is this the "document" stating that the official document you got from whatever county clerks office is actually official? If so, I ran into that problem too when I first moved here with my Austrian husband.

Basically, they wanted a document (can't remember what it's called) stating that the official copy of our marriage certificate is actually official. My question was how they were going to verify the verifying "document" . . . CRAZY! Same requirement for birth certificates, etc . . .

Anyway, I don't remember how my husband handled all that, but I'll ask him and let you know, if it will help.

By the way, I'm unhappy because the building across the way from me is getting a very noisy makeover; so now I have to pack my work, and my splitting headache with me to the office.

Cos my local Reicheldt is full of filthy old people who stink of piss. it's simply too hot and the stench is overwhelming. Was so looking forward to a yummy dinner tonight but have lost my appetite.

Because today was my second day back at work, and I'm sorry I went back!

Minor reason : cause I finished reading "Y - the last man" and the ending was bittersweet and i hate such endings.

Because today is my third day back at work, and bloody IT still haven't reactivated my SAP access. How can I advise/ assess if I don't have access to my cases? BAH!

it's only 8:30am and it feels like it should be the end of the day.
that's just the first of a few reasons. (such as severely missing someone and being extremely sick of constantly missing them, etc.)
