I am so absolutely bored out of my brains today in Leipzig. This city is so completely dead on bank holidays. The wave gothik treff has descended on the town and are all the goths are so up themselves and their music is so completely shite. What do Germans do on bank holidays, stay in and watch TV, why are they all so fucking boring??? I hate this snotty unfriendly narrow minded city so much. I am close to quitting my job and moving to Berlin or jacking it all in and going back to London.

It is NOT funny or nice to laugh at someone or disregard what they are saying when the topic means a lot to the other person. Whatever rock you grew up under no longer exists. You claim to be an adult yet it seems to be impossible for you to have actual consideration for others. Also, you don't claim someone is part of your life and then not let them be and purposely come up with stupid 'rules' or excuses when you both know it's all BS. If you don't want them around then flat out say so. If you don't respect them or have any consideration for their feelings and thoughts then flat out say so instead of saying one thing, but acting another. I thought people grew out of that in high school or sometime.

Cos it's as hot as a vindaloo inside this office, sat here amongst scores of sweaty blokes and it smells like a goat's armpit.
It's my birthday and i should be sat outside the wine bar near my hotel sipping cocktails from the happy hour menu.

Because my mom just left back to the States after a stressful two-week trip of trying to situate my stubborn grandmother into a better location and make sure she is properly taken care of. I never realized how much I miss my family and how far a distance of 3,000 miles sometimes feels. Now I won't see my mother again until next year and I regret not being able to spend more time with her while she was here...

I have now spent around 8 hours trying to fix this fucked up UPS install on this fucked up Windows XP machine and talking to fucked up telephone engineers treating me like a moron.
Final Straw.
All office Windows PC's are going in the nearest skip as soon as possible and being replaced with Apple Macs. I just cannot believe how crap Windows has become. Ironically it all went
Pete Tong when I tried to tweak the PC 'cos it was running like a dog in the 1st place. Slow, buggy lumps of junk. Not multi-lingual friendly, spam ridden, virus ridden lumps of crap.
It's gonna most me money on hardware, plus I need to buy special 3rd party software to run UPS, but I know it's gonna be worth it.

I´m unhappy because although I threw my husband out several weeks ago, and because he couldn´t find anywhere to stay at "such short notice" he´s been sleeping on the living room floor, he´s now looking for a flat in Augsburg so that he can be further away from my daughter and myself, and can be nearer to "her".
Why can´t he just stay here and fall back in love with me???

Because I feel like I'm in such a rut. Gave up my job as a Head of Department at a school in the UK to help my husband make progress in his career (very happy to do this cos I was being bullied by a more senior member of staff). Now working for a language school who would pay me peanuts if I could get my tax number sorted. Feeling completely unfulfilled in the job, have another idea of career (!) but we're not quite ready for that yet, if you know what I mean! Feeling completely unsettled here in Germany at the moment, but really want to make it work cos its not as stressful as it was for us in the UK. Now I'm rambling...

As I said on the happy thread, it's a year since things were falling apart for me.

Because my mum just called me again to tell me about the 8 hour operation she has to have soon even though she knows it upsets me. Seriously, not gonna wait until after work when I'm not surrounded by people?
Also, uni work is mounting up with deadlines fast approaching, 3 colleagues are off sick / away with work so I'm taking their calls therefore leaving no time for me to do my work.
Why does everything crap seem to happen in such a small amount of time?
