bluedave

I recieved just close to the worst news to date in my life.. and then Got dumped.. I think today falls under the worst day of my life.. so bad I actually called my ex husband at work and asked him to take tommorrow off.. which is actually not the best idea.. so tommorrow will probably be the worst day of my life plus one..
cyn
oh gosh...well i really hope it wont be that bad and that you can smile again tomorrow!!!
if not i got this new healing cards we could have a look into them together smile.gif
nowandlainers
Smiling for awhile... not in the cards but I am a pull myself up by my Chunky Heel Mary Janes kind of girl.. I think You just want me to show you how to use the cards wink.gif
cyn

It appears that in my company every turns up for their performance reviews wearing a suit.

No one botherd to tell me that so I look like a yuppy type in a sporty T-shirt.

I doubt this will cause me any trouble but I think its time to stop helping out my collegues avoid language gaffs when they speak to english speakers.
cb6dba
Also, I have to take another langauge course...

I am unhappy because I have epicondylitis in my left elbow (aka tennis elbow). I would vent about it but the elastic bandage will come in handy to support my right elbow when I go bowling to prevent getting it there as well.

EDIT: Now I am even unhappier because the ophthalmic migraine is back and I cannot see out of my right eye for the rainbows drifting over the iris and pupil.
TexasLauren
Because it appears Google is down and it's making me realize how sadly attached I am to my Gmail. I'm pretty sure my head will implode if it's not back online in about 5 seconds.
Bungeesheep
Because my toddler, who loves playing with my purse, probably took 50 Euros out of it yesterday at the café we were at and left it as a very generous tip to the cleaners... sad.gif
sarabyrd
Actually, I would contact the café and explain the situation. An honest cleaner doesn't pocket money found lying around.
gideon
You may find it turns up somewhere else 6 months later. I once found a plastic fish in my skiboot just before taking to the slopes, and a chain of plastic monkeys in a folder I was using for an important business presentation.
Schotte
Last night I turned down ticket for Scotland v England today for me to just find out the reason for turning it down has itself been cancelled. Raging.
bluedave
Ah well, look at the misery you have saved yourself. wink.gif
leky
Hope that prediction comes true BD biggrin.gif
Eleanor Rigby
because for the second day in a row my friends are at the Starkbierfest and I have to stay home with the flu sad.gif
bluedave
England were shite but slightly made better that Ushited got beat.
topcat 1
salt + wounds = unhappy
sarabyrd
Because once things start looking up you realize how close to the edge you are getting.

Edit: I also just banged my elbow with the epicondylitis and the pain is excruciating. Thank goodness for ice-cubes.
Edit II: Now the left side of my neck hurts. This is ridiculous.

I feel your pain Ms. Rigby. For probably the last time ever my employer took us to the Nockherberg fest and I had to miss it as I was home feeling like death. And I also missed a leaving do for one of my favourite (ex) colleagues with whom I'd enjoyed years of amusing banter. Damn flu.

I was very excited about something I was planning ... then I realized it was gonna be a plan for one... sad.gif not so excited now!
Ruthie
Because I discovered some really good rice cakes with a light layer of chocolate on the bottom at the kiosk here at work, but they are sold out and not getting re-stocked. :-(
kitkat64
Because the smoking situation in my office is STILL not resolved and today there is an allday training session filled with smokers...so they hop into the kitchen on evey break and really stink the place up. So aggravating!

A collegue I have not seen for a while ust came in, slapped on the back in a friendly way and said Hi.

Unknown to him (i had my back to him) I had a spoonfull or yogurt about 2cm from my mouth.

I now have a very visable yorurt related accident mark down my shirt.

I have a meeting this afternoon in which I have to get up and say something.
pootle
Cos on Super Saturday I will be on call sad.gif
sea-king
Cos , Friday and Saturday I have a 2 day bookeeping and taxation seminar. Isn´t life just utter shite sometimes! sad.gif
But at least things are getting brighter!
Jimbo
Because in a moment of boredom I came to TT, and every single thread starts different, yet always ends the same:

a. I know x
b. You are wrong
a. I am not
b. You are.
a. wiki
b. wiki's shit
a. You're a cunt
b. You're american
c. Don't slag off americans
d. pic of monkey

etc.
bluedave
So, why you unhappy then?
Jimbo
I was looking for something in the way of entertainment, and instead found an argument about massaging the male prostate gland. Suffice it to say I was hoping for something a little, errr, less up its own arse.
Mariposa
Well, that topic is not up its own ass, but up someone else's ass, if that helps. wink.gif
Agnes
Because my beautiful dog died yesterday. I just don't know what to do with myself today. I just can't imagine myself going out for a walk without him ...
Ruthie
Oh Agnes that is terrible, I am so sorry.
Jack
Because I don't learn from my mistakes as well as I thought I did, which makes me one hell of a twat!
Rilana
I am upset and angry because, being an honest person (or f***ing stupid, whichever way you look at it) I let the GEZ know at the very end of Feb that I now owned a TV, well they sent a bill which arrived yesterday charging me for the whole month of Feb and March (over 50€!!) and when I called to ask why, I had this rude b*tch on the phone who told me that it's how it works and even if I let them know on the 29th, I would still have to pay for the whole month. It's just a f**king sh*t morning. Charlie was at the Einwohnermeldeamt to register us both and for some reason they want photos, so I have to go again next week. They've never needed bloody photos before. Crap day. I'm just so pissed off with everyone.
sarabyrd
Because I made barley risotto style with carrots, leeks, peas and beef and Scogs couldn't eat it because his teeth hurt.
AshleyM
Because my other half and I got into a nasty argument last Saturday and he hit me.

I called the cops, had him arrested and never want to see him or talk to him ever.

Now I cant sleep at night for fear that he will come back!

I have no friends or family here and am feeling quite isolated!

I now have to pack my things and go home to start all over again!
sarabyrd
@ AshleyM: Why? I mean, why pack your bags and leave?

I am unhappy because there was white mould on my white creamed cheese and I barely saw it in time to avoid a very unpleasant sensation.

There are degrees of unhappiness in this world, my mould just can't shine a candle to AshleyM.
DDBug
I'm unhappy because I'll be missing dinner this friday with cool people in a cool restaurant in my neighborhood. bah.
But I'll get over it and find something else to do. In every stupid situation there is a chance to explore different opportunities in life. I guess.
garibaldi
... because our Doggie died this morning.
Ruthie
I´m so sorry. All this stupid drama going on on TT and you have experienced real tragedy today. I´m glad I got to meet him. He seemed to be a happy dog.
sarabyrd
garibaldi and crusoe, I know what you are going through. Your doggie was a lucky dog to live with you, and nothing can ever fill its space.
garibaldi
Thanks for the posts and all the PMs. sad.gif
mere
sad.gif very sorry. He was well loved and cared for. Now he is comfortable and running around across the 'rainbow bridge' where all great dogs go.
garibaldi
The Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of Heaven is a place called "Rainbow Bridge" .
When an animal passes away who has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows, hills, lakes and streams for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine, and our friends are warm, comfortable, and safe.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are very happy and content...except for one small thing.
They each miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but a day comes when one will suddenly stop and stare into the distance. His bright eyes widen and are intent. His eager body quivers in anticipation.
Suddenly he begins to run from the group...flying over the green grass.
His legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend meet, you cling to each other in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face. Your hands again caress their beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting, loving eyes of your friend, who was gone from your life...but who was never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge...together.

With the news i have had today and reading the "rainbow bridge"...

My eyes wont stop leaking... sad.gif
sunshine_jones
sounds like a need for a *hug* for spider pig.

i am unhappy today because i started as an aupair less than a month ago in germany to be closer to my boyfriend and all i have done so far is clean the house everyday, when i met the family before i moved they said i would have to contribute to housework but would mainly look after the children. so far i havent seen anyone else contribute to the house work, other than making more of it for me.
i would quite like to leave them already but im not sure if i can find somewhere to live and work if i was to stay in germany but i dont want to run back home to england just yet and leave my boyfriend behind again.

Good, I'm glad that I'm not the only one that shed a tear on that one (of course, I can blame it on PMS, what's your excuse?)
