Because I have developed an absolute stinker of a cold, and cannot find Paracetamol in any Apotheke ... Why are Germans so obsessed with soluble asprin ??? Yugghhhh !! The only think incentivising me so drink the rancid mixture is because our Xmas night is on Thursday and even if I am still loaded with the cold, I'm going ... Not wasting the new frock and super high shoes ...

Where's that Asprin ??

I introduced my old company to a big new client (even though I dont work there anymore) and was expecting to get a finders fee that they usually pay out (the bigger the client the bigger the payout) instead they just screwed me over and said thanks very much. Well I actually didnt do any work..just made the client aware of the company and vice versa..but still money would have been nice

Just saw the advert from Domos Apotheke for
Paracetamol - 500 mg - 30 pills for 0.98 Euro.
It is located in the Motorama shopping center at Rosenheimerplatz and their phone number is 6244 7755.
Hope you are feeling better!

what a waste of a day off. i shouldn't stuck with my original plan to work and teach.
i'm now wasting a day sitting around alone and all other plans have fallen through.
at the sametime, for goodness sake at least try to be nice today and not make jerk type comments.

because I feel a bit abandoned and although I keep trying to do and say the right things they seem to always be the wrong things. I'm exhausted and everytime I've just about brushed the dust off me and am ready to get up again something else comes and knocks me back down. I'm running out of energy but I know it won't be like this forever and I'm trying to remain positive and stay upbeat and tell myself it's all part of learning and growing etc. but today, I just need a break from holding it all together.

Dunno, leky, that made me smile. Sorry for your troubles, though.
I am unhappy because the repairs for the washing machine and dryer have eaten up my budget for surprising my Ma by turning up at her 70th birthday party next January.

I just read on a Spain forum that apparently at the market here you can buy them for €3 a piece, roasted. Maybe we should have done that instead of spraying it.
And how the earth do roaches get into an apartment on the 4th floor (US)/ 3rd floor (UK & Germany) / 2nd floor (Spain)???

because TT is over moderated.
Because I cannot find my wallet with passport, cards & various licenses

I definately had it at Frankfurt airport Terminal B Saturday when entering Germany from USA on Saturday and probably had it on arrival in Hamburg as I always put the board pass in there after each flight as I have to submit with my company travel claim but yesterday at home I could not find it. Have turned house & car inside out

Ladies, this is an interesting bit of information I received from a heating technician: Women's circulation concentrates on the torso, for one to keep the fetus nice and warm and for another, women's tasks way back when were mostly sedentary, they didn't have to constantly use their extremities. Men, however, would be out hunting, chasing food, picking fermenting fruit and moving around in general, their capillaries were therefore better supplied with nice warm blood. So in cold weather, take extra care to keep your hands and feet warm, cover your kidneys and liver and drink lots of hot fluids.
When my wife complains about cold feet I warm them up for her

Just found out my mum may have bladder cancer. And my other half is at a conference right now, so I've got no one to cry to except you guys on TT. I should know whether she has it or not after a cystoscopy is run on the day after f'ing Xmas. Great. And I don't have a way to get to the US right now because flights are heavily priced and almost sold out, and I don't have enough money...

But the German tradition is for both parties to wear an engagement ring. :-) Sometimes silver, sometimes gold - always matching, on the left hand, and then when you get married, depending on how you feel or your budget, you can either switch it to the right hand in your ceremony, or get new wedding bands. :-)
I think it's a nice tradition.

i cant believe how unhappy i am to be leaving munich again.

i never get this sad over leaving a place as i do with munich and as i am right now. its horrendous and i cant really face anymore packing, but it must be done. though the bag is full and there is a mountain of stuff still to go in somewhere. this is the third stint ive done in munich, each time ive left with no plans of coming back but it keeps cropping up again, so perhaps there will be another chance soon.
plus my hand is still sore as feck
