Why are you unhappy today?

I cannot befriend certain people who have no reason to dislike me (and are friends with some people who are pretty good friends).

It might be a maturity thing, who knows.

im unhappy today because most of my friends went away,just said goodbye last night with the other one from hungary.i feel so alone! why it has to be like this!

Today I'm unhappy with the Notarin who's supposed to be facilitating my divorce. It's Einvernehmlich for gourd's sake. I never wanted to be married to him, yet she keeps warning him I'm "wendisch" and won't go through with the divorce. So she won't put changes into the Scheidungsvereinbarung that wouldn't cost him a thing and will make my life a lot easier in the future. Woke up crying about that. Fantasized about shooting her and screaming that there's a lot her selbstgefällige kleine Dorfrichterin self has never seen. (She was a family court judge for years and thinks she's seen it all.) She refers to me as "gnädige Frau" behind my back.

This morning I called UnGroom and asked him to switch to a new notary and to get me the ready-to-sign agreement so I can look it over for a week rather than sign it under pressure as notaries expect when you walk into their office. I signed the marriage license under duress, I signed my postnup under the gun (it turned out to save my butt, so thankyouverymuch bizarrely paraonoid and delusionally self-important xils) and for some reason it's a bitter bite of reality that the one thing I want, the divorce, seems to be going the same way. I told UnGroom that if this shot didn't work, that I was going to turn it over to a lawyer.

This is a luxury divorce, compared to those where kids are involved. And I have bigger problems on my plate. But that's why I'm 'close to water' today.

Because apparently everyone else is out partying tonight except me. And they keep feeling the need to text me and call me and remind me of the fact.

I miss Munich, not the weather, but the familiar faces and oh, a place to live. Okay maybe I miss the weather a bit too, it's so hot in the hostel room here it's hard to sleep.

Don't worry much, you just got there. You'll be fine next week. Enjoy the Ramblas and the chupitos and the salsa clubs. Oh Barcelona...

Mariposa- i miss Munich too (since i'm not there), but i'm envious of you in Barcelona! i've always wanted to go there and Valencia. have fun and appreciate the art and architeture for the both of us

Yeah, it's not that I don't like it here. I have met a bunch of Germans and also an American guy who was a student in Heidelberg for a few weeks in the summer, so funny. He was with the exchange program that I do language partner for (for the students who stay a semester or two), small world...
I am just worried about not finding a place to live. I am sure once I do have a place to live I will enjoy living here much more. So far I haven't even done any sight-seeing here.

after over 3 weeks of treatment my hand is still numb, I have big bruises on my back from treatment, and the bruises hurt so much its hard to sleep, and I work with a few princess that forget we are a Team not a bunch of prissies.

If only one hand is numb, you might consider slapping the prissy colleagues with the other hand. If you do so repeatedly, the outcome might be worth an entry in 'Why I'm happy today'

even though I had a good treatment today, they (the new physio) is not willing to help me sue the other practice that left me with nasty bruises on my back from a massage.
but I do feel better.

Because Haggis Junior mopped the kitchen. I mean, I was happy to see her doing some housework but we came back from shopping with muddy shoes (we have to cross a decorative bed of bushes to ferry stuff from the car to the front door) so I put my slippers on when I was inside and slipped on the wet floor and went sprawling, banging my backside, spraining two fingers and generally seriously jarring myself. Off to a hot bath and sweat cure.

Just learned my kid stumbled upon porn yesterday. Piss me off.

I'm unhappy cause my boyfriend cheated on me

Just went to Ikea to get 2 things, of course found more. On top of it being way too crowded (yes, I know - after all it is a Sat) I got to cashier and was told that they don't take credit cards anymore. So now I am a bit more broke than before

hang in there. guys suck, some more than others- especially those that don't care about you (when they say they do). If you have an open relationship no problem to sleep with others. if you don't then not cool, especially if the guy is adamant that you don't.

Don't be unhappy, but be happy, cause now you know he doesn't deserve you. There are many wonderful men out there. Forget this guy and move on. Treat yourself to something good today.

And later on when I got the mixing bowl out it caught on two plastic cups (Grönemeyer tour 2007) that fell on my forehead.

@ LIAB: Fair to middlin', I didn't bother with the bath but did sleep for two hours. I dished up a delicious dinner, however, and will post the recipe and photos when they've been downloaded.

go for it. everyone is stupid and every one sucks. it depends on your opinion and the person. some people have less stupidity and less suckiness than others while others have more.

you can do the flip side of the coin and say all people are smart, beautiful, and great, some more than others. People are a bag of mixed traits each with different quantities. Change your relationship/perspective and you'll see different things in each person.

Its 5pm here in Burlington near Boston USA, I've been working in the office - its been VERY hot & sticky outside & the hotel's outdoor pool which would have been welcome got taken out of operation during the week "because its after Labor Day".

Grrr - neither their web site nor the hotel's internal guide said anything about that - just "open daily". I can understand an outdoor pool being closed in Winter but its over 90F at the moment.

AND I have just seen that its clouded over & bullets of rain are falling. Looks like a T-storm is a-brewing.
