I am unhappy because the group which I have to do a project with conveniently decided on a time to meet to do the project without asking some other group members, including me and told me today that they decided last week, that we will meet tomorrow.

im unhappy because its cold, snowing, icy roads, which means i cannot ride my motorbike any longer.

Because I have to accept I cant make anything work here in Germany, and I cant afford to move

I am at home today feeling so sick that I just want to die. Arrggh!

Sick too plus one child. Other child has been outside playing in the snow probably getting sick.

Cos i've only just arrived back in Munich from Bremen when i should have been back yesterday but all of that white shite that people keep celebrating the arrival of meant that all flights back to Munich were cancelled !

So i'm sat in my office now wearing the same socks, underwear and clothes as yesterday and feeling like a fucking tramp.

After four weeks of moving, cleaning, rearranging furniture, setting up bookshelves etc. my back hurts. I am not complaining about the pain, I can bear that. But it makes me unhappy to think that I still have work to do to make the new place livable and I can't.

Sarabyrd, I just went for a walk to my local Edeka where I stopped to get milk on the way back from town and as soon as I walked in there, they handed me the bag... (they actually know me by now and how me and the kids always lose things!) Yes, the Germans are nice...!

I am unhappy because I missed all my connecting bus/tram/u-bahn this morning and arrived 15 mins late for work, panting like an old dog.

I am unhappy because I had to move here for work while leaving my partner in London. A LDR is not easy to maintain.

Oh dear, you do need our help/support/suggestions for a user name. p-d-s gives me inner goosebumps of the most negative kind. The rhythm of life in Munich is easy: Fasching - drink. Starkbierzeit - drink. Biergarten season - drink. Oktoberfest - drink. Christmas party time - drink. Mulled wine and Pots of Evil season - drink. Climb mountains/go skiing/take day trips in between.
LDR are a bummer, when is the partner coming over to help you drink?.
