Greetings Golfers...
Anyone still in the game - despite the chill getting in?
I just got posted to Munich for a year - and it'll sure make me good if i can locate someone to tee off with...
Hope that golfers still check this post - or all migrating to Skiing/snowboarding due to winter?
Keep this post alive...

I will be around from april and would definatley be interested in playing a couple rounds. Well, as long there are clubs to rent and it won't bankrupt me : )
Hi Mook,
I'm sure rented clubs and cheaper green fees can be settled - but in April, itll greatly depend on the weather then - IF hte snow is away...
Will get in touch then...
cheerios!

Hi,
Is anyone interested in playing a round (golf, that is)?
I was thinking of Steinhoering Golf Club one weekend as the weather is ok?

I am definitely interested in playing and was up at the driving range on Sunday. Havent hit a ball for a few years now. Let me know the details and we can meet up for a round. Ebersberg has a nine hole course, think its about 20 euros at the weekend.
I am playing (hopefully) this coming Friday) but here in Ludwisgburg. Hope this weather holds out.

Where is Ludwigsburg then?
About 2.5 hours from Munich (where I lived 9 years). It is
here. But I am playing a lovely
course that is about 1/2 hours from Ludwisgburg (
Neckarwestheim).

Looks like a nice course. Have you played Ebersberg? Do you know if it a good course?
Any other courses around Munich that you can recommend?
Back in my days in Munich I didn't have enough money to play.

Now I have a German freind who is a member and I earn enough play once a week.

I know liitle about the courses around Munich. Sorry. Go
here to learn more.

Hi,there are 2 courses in the east of Munich. One is in Eichenried where they hold the German Open, and the other one is in Grünbach which is about 10 km from erding. From what I've heard, the course in Grünbach isn,t too expensive.I think the greenfee is about 40€.You can phone them on 0812249650.
Hi Guys,
Count me in if you guys are heading for a game + if the weather is good.
havent hit balls for months! hhaha...anyway, i dont my full set with me, only P,7, putter + driver...but i think i'll survive..
anyway, not going for PGA, it'll be great to have a walk and take some whack...
i'll be keen, and i can provide transport if required.
Cheers!

Don't some courses require you to have an official handicap? That or be a member?

Hey guys,
Today seem able to Tee off too!
how about 9holes? ya, mostly need a handicap card or a PC card - but members, not so much.
I'm heading out to find a 9hole course around munich, so if anyone's keen, PM me or drop a line here before 12pm.
Lets whack some balls!

I am interested in future games as well. Let me know when you are playing next if there is room.
I will have to hire clubs and don't have a handycap so hopefully that is not a problem.
Thanks
Dan
So now I played golf in December, January and February. Had a nice 18 today
here.

Kif, you might find the English Golf society interesting. You can check them out under www.egsmunich.de.
They play quite regularly in the spring and summer months and also run a couple of competitions.

I would be interested in a round of golf sometime in the spring as long as I can rent clubs and the prices are too extortionate. I haven't had a official handicap since I was about sixteen which might be a problem though.
Hi People!!
Hows the golfers here doing? manage to catch many games and lower your handicapps with the great weather going on now?
i just got back from Asia after a 1.5month round trip...and i'm all ready too Tee off!!
anyone keen, lets form a 4 ball...or we can have a mini competition

winner get a beer from all participants !! hahhaha
Anyone??

My sticks are getting rusty after sitting around unused for the last 8 months!! I'd sure like to get out and swing them again! Let me know when would be a good time for you to go (although the next two weekends likely won't be good for me).

Hi , would be keen to play this weekend , just a few complication. All my kit is still in storage as I have just arrived in Munich so would need to arrange for a pick up before the weekend.
Where would you play? Is it close to the centre of Munich and easy access via public transport as I haven't organised a car yet

Anyone fancy a round tomorrow? I have transport but the car is very small. Thinking of Ebersberg or Riem (should get tee time without booking) if anyone is interested. PS I am woefully average
