Shame - was looking forward to a game after a boozy return to England. If anyone fancies playing tennis instead (
Olympic park, Sheidplatz or near the
Seehaus) then let me know. I don't know whether it is possible to book a court on Sunday Morning but I'll try.

As there is no squash this week I've booked a tennis court from 10am here:
Tennis
HirschauGyßlingstr. 15
80805 München, Germany
Any takers?
Squash as usual from next week!

Can I borrow a racquet if I don't get chance to buy one on Saturday?

Great.
StephenL will also be there so we have 4 players. 3 usually play squash so I have no idea what the standard will be but it'll make a nice change, especially if the weather forecast is right.
The court is booked for 2 hours, and I suspect I can add another if there are more takers.
Dear All,
Squash is full operational again.
Would be nice to see some of the old faces regularlz now summer is drawing to a close.

Hello all,
I have just moved to Munich this Monday and would be happy to play some squash.
I understand there is a regular game every Sunday - I will try to come on the 28th.
Also if anyone is interested to play during the week in the evening, around 6 or later, I'd be up to that.
I am something between intermediate and advanced I'd say.

Yevgeny,
Zes feel free to come along. Could zou use the signup sheet / see the first reply if zou plan to come along so I can ensure the right number of courts.
I would like to have another regular game in the week, for me probably after 7pm.
Do you want to see if you can get a court for next week sometime?
Kind Regards,
Jono

Oct 6 2008, 11:50 am
Not all the best things are free Jim Bob. As per the main post the cost varies according to how many courts are booked and how many people turn up.
Court = 10 EURO for 30 mins. Courts are typically booked for 1 hour 30.
The last 2 weeks were less but on average it costs 11 euros with a maximum of 15.

How did the Sunday squash crowd get on in the Saturday tournament last week? Any glory? Any new recruits for Sunday?
Would have thought the miserable weather today would prompt a few more sign-ups.

Can I join the Sunday game if i'm a beginner, even a very beginner? Or is it too boring for experienced players to play lots of 15:0 games?
Stephenl

Jim bob,
don't worry about that. Alot of poeple are beginners when they join up.

Everybody that has signed up for this week,
It's touch and go whether I come along. I think I'm a bit too pissed to be able to know whether I will be able to wake up. I am very sorry if I caused incoveience. On the plus point Grant said he may go also maybe you wpo'nt be a man doewn.

Another drunken rambling Steve - but what went wrong this one was relatively coherent. If they hadn't placed the d and s so close on the keyboard you might have managed to disguise how drunk you were.

I'm only 50/50 for this coming week but Yevgeny said he'd bring a spare racquet in case I don't make it. Or they can be hired for 2,50 EURO.
