NO SQUASH THIS WEEKEND!!!

Squash and Fitness Schwabing is closed this coming weekend 31st August for court refirbishments. Therefore no squash until the following weekend.

Shame - was looking forward to a game after a boozy return to England. If anyone fancies playing tennis instead (Olympic park, Sheidplatz or near the Seehaus) then let me know. I don't know whether it is possible to book a court on Sunday Morning but I'll try.

As there is no squash this week I've booked a tennis court from 10am here:

StephenL will also be there so we have 4 players. 3 usually play squash so I have no idea what the standard will be but it'll make a nice change, especially if the weather forecast is right.

The court is booked for 2 hours, and I suspect I can add another if there are more takers.

Funnily enough I figured you weren't going to make it to squash.

Hello all,
I have just moved to Munich this Monday and would be happy to play some squash.
I understand there is a regular game every Sunday - I will try to come on the 28th.
Also if anyone is interested to play during the week in the evening, around 6 or later, I'd be up to that.
I am something between intermediate and advanced I'd say.

I would like to have another regular game in the week, for me probably after 7pm.

Not all the best things are free Jim Bob. As per the main post the cost varies according to how many courts are booked and how many people turn up.

Court = 10 EURO for 30 mins. Courts are typically booked for 1 hour 30.

The last 2 weeks were less but on average it costs 11 euros with a maximum of 15.

How did the Sunday squash crowd get on in the Saturday tournament last week? Any glory? Any new recruits for Sunday?

Would have thought the miserable weather today would prompt a few more sign-ups.

Can I join the Sunday game if i'm a beginner, even a very beginner? Or is it too boring for experienced players to play lots of 15:0 games?

As is the tram 27 stop at Herzog Str but the Herzog Str.

I'm only 50/50 for this coming week but Yevgeny said he'd bring a spare racquet in case I don't make it. Or they can be hired for 2,50 EURO.

Dammit! I was really confused why it was totally empty yesterday until I found out 6 hours later that the clocks had moved back. I'll be there this week.
