I turned up on 6th January only to find that this regular booking had been cancelled due to no shows on successive numbers of weeks.

I was quite disappointed, what with my enthusiasm to implement my new year's fitness regime.

Could somebody please let me know once games are back on as I would still love to play!

I used to play regularly and really miss playing since moving here 5 months ago. I played a couple of times just before these were suspended and would be a very regular attendee if the Sunday mornings sessions are restarted. Also I would probably be able to play every other Sunday afternoon/eve if the sessions are moved.

Alternatively, If anyone fancies a game I only live a stones throw from the courts so just send me a message on this forum. I teach English here in Munich so have to work most evenings but would also be available on Fri. Typically I am too busy during the week I am also available for the next few Thur mornings.

Lastly if anyone is interested in giving "British racketball" a go let me know and I will try to get my rackets over (or buy some new ones).

British racketball = game played with racketball rackets (short with big racketheads) on squash court with a bigger ball. It is slower, requires less hand eye coordination, and much easier than squash (or even US version) and is therefore suited to beginners. In UK it is growing in popularity in the over 55's who used to play squash. It can be a lot of fun and the rallies are often longer so you still get a good work out.

Is anyone playing this Sunday - a couple of us would like to???

Last week we had a great turnout - fantastic!

However, can I ask that if you are planning to come you try to signup so I have the best chance of getting the correct number of courts. Of course the earlier you do this the more chance I have and then everyone gets a decent run of singles games as well as the 3/4 squash.

I went last Sunday and it was 9 Euros. It was the only time I've been but I think it's usually about the same price.

Usually around the 10€ mark , obviously it depends on the numbers and the courts which do vary week on week.
