Squash games every Sunday

So there was a big group out yesterday.

was good practice and after not having played for so long, I feel the effects today.

anyone up for a mid-week game?

Oh, and there is a tournment on 24th Feb at the club, you can register at the desk, I think we should all participate, would be fun.

The girls summergrl, drica and others should defo. do so, as you would be the only girls and in the end its nice to win a few freebies and also have your picci up on the club board as female champion

For this Sunday we have the usual 4 courts again.
I don't know if I'll be able to join as the flu has finally cought me as well.
As more ppl are struggling with a cold at the moment, I don't know if we'll be with 8 or more ppl.

So could everybody confirm please if they'll join for Sunday?

@khaled333; Sorry I missed your message last Saturday. Of course you & your friend are always welcome to play. Just post if you want to join this Sunday we'll see you at Fitness Swabing. Just look for English speaking people or ask the lady at the bar.

@FatRascal; I normally can't play during the week, so I can't give you a game a game I'm afraid. I don't know the prices by hard for evenings during the week. I'll check next time I'll be in Fitness Swabing.

Best place to play is Squash an fitness schwabing. I think we pay about 12€ each for 1.5 hours on Sunday.
Cheaper during the day and not weekends.

They have racquets for hire or they seem to have a reasonably priced selection.

Mid Week games have become less frequent of late but I would be interested in a mid week game.
But not this week as I have Bronchitis right now and I'm not sure how compatible with squash that is.

EditorBob is creating a signup sheet for the squash for us, so we can make sure we have enough but not too many courts.
I think its reasoanble for people to signup by Thursday so we can give enough notice to the club.

I didn't bring my racket from my country. can I borrow one at the club?
And I'm also looking for some place to buy one.. could you recommand somewhere?
What I used is wilson's weight of 120. I want to something of similar weight (with reasonable price )

Hi Erin, you can rent raquets at the squash club. They also have raquets for sale although maybe not the best especially if you had one t hat was 120g before! There's loads of sports shops around town but which is best I couldn't tell you.
With regard to Sunday, I don't normally play Sundays but I think it's a case of adding your name to the list. If the worst comes to the worst, just turn up & I'm sure you'll get a game.

Please use the sign up sheet for this week. If you don"t then you may not get a game.

Last sunday, it was so nice to play squash in Munich(finally!)! I wish I can play better like others =)
However, I'm having a hard time with muscle pain (-.-) I cannot use stairs...;; What should I do to recover this? I don't think I can play this sunday.

I don't know if I'll be playing this Sunday. With all the snow that has fallen this week it has become very tempting to go skiing this weekend. I'll confirm tomorrow if I'll join.

@rodentia: you still have muscle pain from Sunday's games?? All I can say is you should do more sports, so you should join more often
(+ stretching before and after the games would help)

To recover from the pain of playing squash you must make sure you drink at least two Weiss biers after playing, and make sure you come and play each Sunday

Me playing at 4pm on saturday, could start a bit earlier for a few games with someone else before though! Lemme know.

OK - Only James and I signed up for the squash. So I am about to cancel courts at 2pm.

Let me know if you are coming but haven't signed up !
