The man has never left Germany before so he is faced with the daunting prospect of planning his trip, which he does alone, and is, no doubt, very proud that he actually achieved all this. Final phone call to the woman and she eagerly awaits his arrival at the Sydney airport... The flight takes off and he is full of anticipation until he eventually notices that Sydney seems to have gained snow-capped mountains and the temperature was a trifle chilly for the Australian summer... He then noticed his slight error - he had booked a flight to Sidney, Montana instead of Sydney, Australia. Oops...

Mr Gutt told Bild newspaper he had begun to suspect something was wrong - but hoped things would turn out all right.
He said: "I did wonder but I didn't want to say anything.
"I thought to myself, you can fly to Australia via the United States."
Mr Gutt's airline ticket took him via the US city of Portland, Oregon, to Billings, Montana.
Only as he was about to board an internal commuter flight to Sidney - an oil town of about 5,000 people - did he realise his mistake.
