Bizarre problem with Mac power adapter

Any Macophiles here that can help?

I have a very strange problem with my power adapter for my Powerbook. It's the last-generation 15" white plastic casing non-Intel computer. The power adapter is this one:

So I have a normal power strip plugged into the wall. I plugged the adapter into the power strip, and it worked fine for about a day, then it no longer was charging my computer. So I put the adapter into a different plug in the same power strip, and voila, it works again... for a day. Then same thing, no longer charging, move it to the third plug on the power strip, works again for a day. Now I am out of plugs on the power strip, so I plug the adapter right into the wall socket, and it works again... for a day. Then I plug it to the second socket, same result.

WTF!?!?!

I tried searching for this problem, but didn't even know how to phrase it, it seems so bizarre to me.

So, any helpful hints out there? Is this clearly a power adapter problem (which Macs are famous for), or could it be a problem with the computer itself? I just got the computer about a month ago, and always used the same plug for the power, but the problem only started about a week ago.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the powerstrip or the Circuit is overused, and the PSU can't handle it and shuts off. Try a different Power socket in the house and not with a powerstrip. just plug the this straight into the wall. If it does it again, then you know the PSU is bad and needs replacing.
