Yes, thanks for the tip. I was out and about around midnight, and kept my eyes on the heavens. Lovely starry night, but didn't see any shooting stars unfortunately. However, I'm now wondering if I saw one on Tuesday night. I happened to be looking at the sky directly overhead, around maybe 9 or 9:30 p.m., and saw a bright point of light streak past, heading roughly from south to north. Could that have been an early Geminid?
