Several of the Winterlauf runners are going to take part in this on December 31st. There's a young kid's 0.5k race at 1215 (under 9 years) followed by a older kid's 2k run at 1230 and a 10k adult run at 1300.
Renia and I will have our children in the 1215 run and then take part in the 10k. Registration fees are cheaper if you sign up by December 15th.
Any interest?

Sounds insane. I mean, I go hashing, but there's a reward for that. Brrrr.
Have fun though. I might even go cheer you on, and put the little bundle of energy in the childrens race.
Will they be serving glühwein for the spectators?

Ah come on DDbug, I did that
Ismaning 12.8 run yesterday with three weeks training, so as a hasher and with three weeks training you can manage 10k. The reward is feeling great afterwards.
I am not sure yet whether I will be in Munich on 31st- if yes, I will run (and sign up late). If not, I will do the Sylvesterlauf in Vienna (only 5.3 K). Seems like a good way to finish the year.

Tara, I'm really not built for running.
I might walk it, but I don't think I will have much time for training before then anyway. And how does one train properly?
The littlest bug, however, would probably love it and run all three if he could. I'll check it out.
