ParrotHead
Just spoke with Petal and Canuck. Unfortunately, don't think that I will be able to leave any earlier than originally planned. See you all tonight!
canuck
I'm assuming now that there's no way for me to leave work later and still get a ride down. I'm heading home now (i.e. no access to TT) to pack and eat and drink and eat and eat Ice Cream...Mmmmmm. tongue.gif Yeah, I can be reached on my handy. If there is a change of plans let me know. I will be at Ostbahnhof at 3:30 as it stands now.
petal
OK, so everything is noe sorted. Fluff has offered to pick me up, so should be able to make Ostbahnhof by 3:30. God, what a frantic day I'm having. Ready for a beer!

So, except for ParrotHead, Shaggy and Photojenny, everyone else is meeting at Osbahnhof at 3:30.

See eveyone later.

Lizz you are the only 2 coming by train, please get to Prien by 12 as it won't be beach weather tomorrow so we'll want to get going!
Rubber Duck may eventually come too, I guess she can PM you or call me. There are 2 spaces in the cars for you +bf, be prepared to have a wet tent on your lap! JB

Great weekend, despite the rain. Thank JB for organising.

My legs are killing me today after hiking downhill yesterday. Getting some very strange looks at work!

Anyone going to post pics?
Toast
boy, i second that. smile.gif

>toast hobbles off to find camera...<
ume
my desktop is dead and I cannot access my camera at work (these guys have disabled all USB ports). So, I will take a looong time to post them...

really great weekend... just that I was not able to sleep because someone was snoring all night... unsure.gif
Shaggy
somebody needs to be gagged with that cheese!
Toast
>toast hobbles back with camera<

pictures are up.
(at least those that managed to stay on the camera...) huh.gif

i had a great weekend. serious mad props to those that did just about everything except actually carry me up the mountain. if you ever need a bag held while sitting in a biergarten or such- i'm your girl. biggrin.gif
Toast
in case anyone had problems with the link above- it's been corrected.

@shaggy
please, let's never speak of the cheese again. blink.gif
petal

rubber duck
After a hot bath yesterday evening, then trying any kind of Mum´s recommendations to prevent muscle ache and a 11-hour sleep (haven´t slept that long since I was a baby) - oh, what a damn painful awakening this morning!!! blink.gif

I´m definitely not a “mountain goat rather a “midnight downtown rat. ph34r.gif

After all – good weekend, was a great feeling seeing the hut from down the valley yesterday afternoon while thinking - yep, I´ve made it!!!
Thanx to everyone for the support!!
JoolyBooly
@ Rubber Duck please answer my PM (did you get it? some don't seem to get sent).. I need to know if your car sorted out petrol between yourselves, if not how much it was, then I can give everyone the bill for petrol and camping...

Am off to the UK tomorrow so would like to sort it out before I leave...

Thanks
JB
Keydeck
I keep misreading the title of this thread as "Walking and Rutting in the Alps". biggrin.gif
Toast
actually, you were right. the "hutting" was a misprint. i guess that it goes without saying- it was quite a weekend... tongue.gif
JoolyBooly
yep, Keydeck you seriously missed out, 15 of us "sleeping" in 2 rows in the hut, although not much sleeping was achieved! rolleyes.gif

Ok so the bill is sorted, € 10 for camping and 6 of us still need to pay petrol.. I'll PM you separately with bank details...
