I've never heard anything except "I Don't Feel Like Dancing" - do they have good material? That song always makes me smile.
Boba
Very bold taking on the Zenith with only one hit in Germany...
Jenny L
I'd like to see them. I like quite a few of their songs actually.
Moonboot
saw them in Blackpool a couple of years ago, they were ace, we'll deffo be going to this one!
the new album's good, though I prefer their previous one, it's more stompy!
pepper
Would agree, the last album was a lot better. But def would like to see this !
MoiLV
I'm such an idiot. I keep forgetting that they're (and I'm) American and read the date as October 4th, 2007. It made me a little upset that I'd have to wait so long.

Now I see I could have just looked at the other cities and their dates too, but what else can you expect from such a simpleton?

Anyways.. I'm excited.
sphinx
The Scissor Sistors are absolutely brilliant. They are like glam rock with punk lirics. I am so upset I will have left mad.gif There was a huge article on them run by either Der Zeit or Suddeutschland Zeitung in August this year. They are huge in Australia and UK but haven't cracked it in their homeland.
Renia
Shall we go Jenny?
Jenny L
Why, yes, Renia, I think that's a splendid idea!
Renia
I normally can't plan that far ahead, but why ever not?
Jenny L
I didn't even bother to read the exact date- but I'll make time to go to this. smile.gif
Renia
Ok, I'll get my ass together and get two tickets smile.gif. Other interested parties can join in too.
hams
I'm up for it too girls - and I'll bring my own beer supply this time, the Zenith not being known for its efficient service. wink.gif
Renia
ph34r.gif Can we sneak alcohol in?
hams
We can but try - reminds me of the P1 thread, although I'm not complaining about the price, just the fact that there are three people at each bar and hundreds of customers. rolleyes.gif
Jenny L
We could go out for a few pre-concert drinks. ph34r.gif
hams
Always an option.
Plus the lead singer is also rather hot despite being gay (not that gay men can't be hot...) biggrin.gif
Renia
No, its wasn't a case of being cheap, just I hate waiting in queues too, so getting tanked before we go is no doubt the best plan biggrin.gif .

A hot man is a hot man!
Jenny L
Yeah, fair enough. But a hot man who wants to have sex with you is slighty more appealing than one who doesn't. biggrin.gif
the Boy From Bozlem
Don’t forget to take a palm tree with flashing fairy lights wink.gif
Jenny L
laugh.gif We should go to Lloyd's before or after really. It'd fit the theme for the evening anyway. biggrin.gif

Hmmm...agreed, but one can still look... (sadly)
hams
... at the same time not letting one's imagination run wild. rolleyes.gif
Renia
Mine runs wild most of the time anyway, so I'm pretty much a lost cause laugh.gif
Lassie
I was rather keen on going to see them, but the thought of being accosted by three pissed up, lecherous tt girls, swigging booze from carefully concealed hip flasks puts a real downer on the thought

errr, hang on, I'll be there!

Anyway, my bro saw them in the UK a while back and said they put on a really good show, so I will most likely be attending. Am a bit worried though that a couple of their songs on the latest album sound a bit Girls Aloud huh.gif
hams
laugh.gif Lassie - we promise to give you a slug too, share and share alike.
pootle
I'll be there too with a few non TT friends
Renia
Lassie, you can be a bit Girls Aloud with us for one night
Katrina
Cheers pootle for getting my ticket, am looking forward to this.
Mrs Peel

Great Concert. They really put on a great live show. I was impressed.
MissApfelschorle2005
Good crowd, great atmosphere, cool concert. But a little bit to short. I could have gone on for a bit longer.
Katrina
brokenm where were you??

Down at the front it was mince heaven. Show too short, wrong venue (Circus Krone? Tonhalle? GEH?), slightly overpriced even for Zenith (!!), a bizarre crowd full of future poofs (can see 15 year olds in 10 years time saying "I knew I was different when..."), Dorfbewohner with perms *spits* that looked like bad trannys on crystal meth mixed with Müllerstr. finest, was like being at Pride but with people you actually like and music that is good.

Yes Ana's boobies very present but good grief, you could hide WMD under a baby doll cut like that.
Loved, loved, loved her technical abilities (those at concert will know to which I refer) and filthy gorgeous sweary gob, Jake is surely the *King of the Mincers* but anyone with gold footwear who then chooses to groove barefoot is more than OK in my book. wink.gif

Big up to the flying Bear!

PS Jake had on my armpit-length gloves that I wanted, the bitch. They are now dead to me.
brokenm
Hey Katrina, I didn't check the posts on TT. I was in the middle right in front of th emixing table. I was also impressed with the DJ, a great crowd warmer. Yeah the mix of people surprised me, but this was the best sound that I ever heard in the Zentith. Normally it sounds like music being played in a tube.
Katrina
The DJ was indeed very good, but I felt sorry for the guy as the crowd just in front of him just didn't want him. But yes, it was surprisingly good sound for the Zenith and it also reminded me what a great song "Atomic" by Blondie is.

BTW there were folk giving away tickets outside, that's how close to half empty it was. Half the arena being screened off to make it look fuller as well.

I so want to take a decent camera to these concerts - bah!
Moonboot
top notch concert though it did seem to be really short! they played in Blackpool a few years ago when they only had one CD out and they played far longer.
great banter though, oo and a great backdrop of huge bouncing boobies to 'there ain't no tits on the radio', kept Mr.Moonboot temporarily mesmerised!
pootle
there was lots of great comments, some of them so rude that my mind just forgot them instantly wink.gif

Oh though I do like...

"We just played up in the austrian mountains, last time I saw that much snow I was partying with Kate Moss" smile.gif
