Drinks and German language practice

The plan was to come tonight, becuase I REALLY need to improve my German...I've been here almost 5 mths now and can still only say a few words (how embarrassing !!), but found out that I need to work late tonight :-( !! And unfortunately since it takes me about 1 1/2 hours to get to Munich... it looks like I won't make it tonight

Don't worry about lost luggage! Mine was lost six times (all with Air France), and they always delivered it to my door in anywhere between two hours to six days time. I realised that is just the consequence of traveling, and it beats bringing the bags home (not really, but trying to make a positive point)

Also, since it is a German restaurant and we are trying to learn German, for those that can ...lets be on the German side and show up on time eh. I know showing up late is fashionable and all but really it is IMHO better to be early than late, that way yous can get the Godfather seat, i.e. back to the wall so no one can come up and clock you with their nines and stuff. Get them before they get you says me. That and I can't stay out so late that night and I just love seeing all you peeps and meeting some of you new peeps. So really that last part, its all about me, honest. But don't tell anyone okay. It'll be our little secret. I love you. You're special.

PS: I haven't had any caffeine today. thats the problem really.

We run these every other Thursday... but as it's easter and many are away, we'll move it to next week. Just watch the post...
