Identify TT'ers --> Listen for the bad German. ;-) Probably the table is reserved for "Toytown."
As I remember, English is allowed after 21:30. I never saw anyone order a round or even a drink for talking in English before that time, though. Of course English is allowed for the purpose of clarification, explanation, or word definition. No one's drawing any pictures on Bierdecke or anything...

I have been attending regularly for 4 months, and I have never bought or been bought any drinks for speaking English. People want to practise german, and it's not good to speak too much english, but there are no real consequences. However, don't expect people to translate every conversation for you if you don't understand.

That'll be the day

You said that last time and never came! Mind you, you didn't miss much - the conditions weren't the best at Molly's the last time with the "live" band as backdrop and waiting an hour for lumpy mashed potatoes
Hope you have better luck this time at Bobolovskys!

D'oh... my friend's birthday bash (which was cancelled due to his gf being sick) is now back on, as a birthday beer with 2 or 3 guys. So I sadly won't make it after all unless Bobolololskivvies moves next door to
UnionsBräu. ;-)
