Drinks and German language practice

Hi, okay, who is up for the german stammtisch on Thursday? It will be at Molly Malones and we are starting at 7.30. ( dont worry if you cant make it at this time) As usuall it would be great to welcome some new faces. Beginners are welcome. See you then. katja

What's the parking like over there? Is it only Einwohner or Parkschein like most of Haidhausen? I've ridden my bike by plenty of times but never took note of the signage.

Hello everyone, the next stammtisch will take place on the 14th at 8pm in the Max Emanuel Brauerei. Its a very nice beergarden, so I hope the weather will be okay. Hey there...I am new to Munich and my German friends told me not to worry about learning German as everyone speaks English here...I know just a few words, so how would I be able to come to Stammtisch without having to buy everyone a beer as I am bound to end up speaking English...Would love to meet English speakers...Deb

Hello, it was great to see so many people at the last stammtisch. Time to organize the next one. The next Stammtisch will be Thursday the 28th of June starting at 8pm. We will meet at the Riva Bar Pizzeria, Feilizstrasse 4. Its only round the corner from the Müncherner Freiheit. Newbies and Beginners are welcome, try to come along even if you only speak a few words of german. Post here if you have got any questions. Katja

I know someone who is going that hasn't signed up either... if I remember correctly, there is a bar there we can spill over to. Worst comes to worst, we take over Schwabinger 7 across the street.

I believe we have been to Riva before, and the service and the size of the place was great, hope that holds true tonite!

Best way is to take the U5 or any S-Bahn to Ostbahnhof and follow the exit for the bus station (or maybe there is an exit for Wörthstr. itself). Once you come upstairs, the Wörthstrasse is the street straight ahead from Orleansplatz. Walk down it and it's on the right hand side.

I'd like to get out there after Touch Rugby tonight - how can I recognize your table?

I'm sure the table is reserved under the name "Toytown" as usual so just ask the staff to point you in the right direction.

The place has a pretty open layout, so it should be pretty easy to spot us!

Hi, I know I am posting this really early this time. he next German Stammtisch will be on Thursday the 26 th of July. We will be from 8pm on the the Jazz Cantina, Steinstrasse 83 ( Close to the Rosenheimerplatz ) They have got a small outside area so if the weather is nice we have the chance to sit outside. It will be great to see Newbies and Beginners again, so only if you only speak a little bit of german, ou are more then welcome to join us. See you then, Katja
