I was wondering if anyone had any plans for the evening. I think I'll be ready for a drink and some food around 8:30/9pm. Anyone else?

As one of the newbies, I'll need some advice on the location.
Keydeck
Well, if you like football there's the Champions League final tonight.

Will be watching it in Günther Murphy's on Nicolai straße.

Malcolm and I are planning to go for a curry tonight at 9pm, but you're welcome to join us if you like. The place is called "Sitar", at Robert-Koch Str. 4, 80538 - right beside Lehel U-Bahn station on the U5 line.

I hate you. I'd love a curry but I'm stuck with a Team Event this evening. What a yawn.

Krista, I'd advise you to get yer arse down there and have one of the Chicken Jalfrezis. Not too spicy but VERY nice. Lots of it too! And dare MS and QM to try something new while you're at it. Those boys are stuck in a rut...

I get that a lot.

That'll make my curry taste all the better!

The Jalfrazi is mild by British curry standards, but hot by most others. It's probably not the best choice for most Americans (although there are obviously exceptions, such as Hoddy).

Who's "QM"? I've already tried a lot of the dishes, but now that I've found the one I like the best, why change?

Oh my, a challenge. I do like things spicy, so we'll have to see. I would love to join you all if you don't mind a newcomer. I don't have any idea what you look like, so look for me...black skirt, gray shirt, black sweater.

Sure, no problem, but I don't recommend doing what Hoddy did and asking for your curry "extra hot". She left most of it!

I'm easy enough to spot; Black shoes, black jeans, black t-shirt, black jacket, black backpack. I'm also the bloke holding the flowers, here:

I may be a few minutes late though, as I'll be coming straight from my German lesson.

By the way, coming from Hauptbahnhof you'll want to be at the front of the U-Bahn (both the U4 and U5 go to Lehel). Walk up the two sets of steps (facing the same direction for the second set as for the first) and there should be a bar on the street corner to your left. Turn left and walk for about 30 seconds to the next street corner, and you'll be at the entrance to the Sitar. There may be a few other TTers turning up as well.

It's called Roosevelt's. If you come out of their front door and turn left, you'll see Sitar on the next corner.
