We have the thread with good looking meals... and after what must have been the most amazing gelato I've ever tasted, I thought it would be appropriate to have a similar thread for those of us with a sweet tooth (or sweet teeth).

Here you go: Gelato from Il Giolotti. A gelateria in Rome- they used to make personal deliveries to Pope John Paul II.

A cake I baked a few days ago for my grandma's birthday. She's a diabetic so I didn't use any sugar, just a bit of splenda.

Clementine, that cake is so much more beautiful than any I've ever paid for!

one question

to make a layered cake , what is it that you put in between the layers

i mean how do you make that cream , can we also get it readymade in shops ( if yes what is the german name for it )
