Does anybody know?
I did not find much under
Finanzamt.de only the forms for 2007.
Does anybody know where I can get my mitts on a copy?
I do not see the point in going through a Steuerberater as all I am offsetting will be km to and from work.
Thanks in advance

I've got a copy of WISO-Steuer 2006 lying around (for the year 2005) if you want it for a few Euros.
It's wicked, you don't even need the forms, it prints them for you.

In 2005 when my Steuerberater submitted forms for 2004, he simply used the 2005 form but crossed out the "2005" at the top and wrote "2004" in it's place. It went through fine. I don't think they change much from year to year.

That link is for Bavaria however, and Purple Muffin is in Hesse.
I'm not sure if the tax return forms differ from state to state through.
The tax forms on
www.finanzamt-frankfurt-am-main.de are also for 2007 only. I still say just use the 2007 ones and cross out the date at the top. Perhaps someone else can confirm that this is an acceptable way to proceed.

Tax return forms, rarly vary from year to year and are standard for all states in Germany, printed by the BundesDruckeri.
Just get a from for 2006/2007, cross out the year and put the year you are filing for.
