Hey,

I will be moving to Cologne soon for an internship (on a very tight budget!) How much is a weekly travel card say for travelling between Seulz and Deutz. Are weekly travel cards valid on trams, buses and underground?

Also does Germany have some sort of an NUS card system like in the UK?

Thanks!

Arm yourself with an ISIC card. Not sure about Köln specifically, but to get student rates on public transport you generally need student ID from one of the local universities. Ticket info is available here: VRS.
