Right outside of my office building, on Maxmonument, 2 trams just collided, causing traffic in the Maximilianstr./Sternstrasse intersection, and halting the 19 heading into town (Richtung Pasing) and the 17 (Richtung Effnerplatz). The 19 Tram also heading the St.Veit Str. direction doesn't seem to be moving either.
If you're waiting for any of these trams, better take the U-bahn if you can.

Yah, I tried to take some pictures with my mobile, but they all came out too fuzzy. It was a weird collision, the front end of the 19 tram going into town impacted the tail end of the 17 headed toward Prinzregentenstr. and slightly derailed both trams.
No idea how that could have happened.
There are a bunch of trucks and MVV vehicles out there, maybe an ambulance. I'm not sure if anyone got hurt, but we definitely heard the hit from our building. Sounded like 1 second of thunder.
This will take hours to sort out.

I was planning to make a trip to Max Weber Platz for a regular medical check-up this morning... and usually I take Tram 19, and today I somehow... instinctively skipped the whole thing!
Or was it just because I was instinctively afraid of the dentist???

Dont think he's clairvoyant, but I do believe he had WiFi installed as standard...and a DVD player. Where he puts the disc, I dont want to know!
I get the 17 everyday for going to and coming back from the office... Luckly yesterday I took the S6
