What's the venue like? Never been to Zenith.
It seems weird to book tickets for a concert 7 months in advance, but I'd be well up for this.

Not sure if I'll go to this...a bit pricy, though I like the music...
The Zenith is a massive hall with bars along the sides, similar to the Ton Halle but larger...it's just a big long hall...nothing interesting or impressive, but functional.
http://www.zenith-die-kulturhalle.de/zenith_programm.htm(pics on the website pretty much shows what it's like...)
That NIN show I WILL be at, however...

Some really great music... but... a little dull to watch.. unless you like light shows. Guess getting tanked up and having a good old dance would be the path to take!

Would go myself - but getting tanked up being a bit of a problem at the Zenith. Insufficient number of barstaff who are incompetent!

Well it's in July, so you can get sozzled in a Biergarten beforehand and avoid the bar staff altogether.
My only reservation in going is that I've been to concerts like this in Germany before and instead of dancing, people watched.

If you get a good group though, that shouldn't stop you bopping about.

Yeah, I've seen'em before in Wisconsin...3/4 watched, 1/4 danced. I was drinking on the side of the stage with another band that had played at the show, that's a nice option to have.

Was at the Massive Attack gig and people were definately grooving - although I have to admit some were having problems even swaying.

Zenith is big enough to get the lightshow in - hope they keep the doors open as if it is a hot day, you could cook in there.
And yeah, I'll be going for the beer/dance like loon tactic. As per usual.

I think Mrs Peel's got it right.
Assemble an elite posse and guarantee yourself your own private dancing hoard.
Now I have just have to convince my mates to pay €35,- for a ticket.

I saw these at Exeter Great Hall in 1996 - was a wicked evening (only usurped by the Prodigy later that term iirc). You need to be pretty tanked though - Snakey B worked wonders back then - there is no real 'show' to speak of.

Saw The Brothers @ Southside when it was in Munich (
Neubiberg) in '99 and they absolutely rocked. 'twas in a large Marquee, they themselves weren't that interesting to watch, the light show was far out and even though the power broke down just as it got going ...they returned and still had the crowd in their hand. An awesome live happening !!

Was on the phone to my sister last night, she advised me that I should actually try to notice when they go on stage and not realise it wasn't the support band halfway through concert. Yes it does run in the family.
Should be a good crowd I hope despite Zenith.

I'll be there! Was a fan of the Chemical Brothers as a teenager, so I guess it's about time I saw them live.

Hi,
I have one spare ticket as my bf can't attend.
If anyone is interested, PM me, I'd ask for €25.

so it was just one big sweaty, smoked out mess but the peeps were 'avin' it and the Chems were on form i thought ...great visuals, lasers and of course choonage !! highlights for me were the mix-in of
Primal Scream's Don't Fight It, Feel It and
Star Guitar with a superb piano outro ...w-w-w-wicked
Wicked Wicked !! The Boys have done it again... 10/10 Loved... Do it again - agree 100% with above Brill show...

It's a long hall, old industrial location. As for sound, it stinks. I was in the back, however, so you may wanna try your luck closer to the front / closer to the speakers.
