A newly arrived American from Texas (just married) and me would like to attend one of these Tuesdays - never having been to one -...however..uhm.this doesnt look like a good day to do that??

Not everyone is going to the meal, so why not see if others want to meet in Günthers. Or if you want to meet people but don't fancy the meal, then just come along to the place a bit later on like some of the others are doing. You'll meet loads of people and should be fairly guaranteed a good night.

I would go - we're just combining a birthday with the usual weekly meet up. Lots of nice people for you to meet, and we've all been the new kid on the block at some point.

As my wallet doesnt allow for big dinners and Nathan's probably not either, we will be around for drinking time.

you are welcome of course.
There also is the American Stammtisch if you want to go out and don't feel comfortable with plans for tonight.
But as mentioned before: come along to Juleps. They have a bar area and delicious cocktails, so don't be shy and meet some TT's. At least you can't really miss us, as the place is not very big and we probably have booked the biggest table.

Ah, yeah table is booked for ppl who want food at seven on the name IRINA.
The bar area is not too far away though
Drinking time: well, as I assume not everybody is having dinner... as early as you want. Happy Hour is till 8pm (cocktails half price). there is not really an official start of drinking time. So just come along at any time you feel comfortable.

Thank you all for a really brilliant time last night.
Thanks everybody for being there. I hope you had a good time as well.
It took me a while to figure out how i got home, still trying to figure out what time it was.
I have to admit, food was not really nice and I can't really say anything about the cocktails, just that I had far too many of them.
My collegues put a bottle water and paracetamol on my desk, which definitely is needed today and I surely should not have been driving to work this morning (Even had to switch off the radio in the car). Everything was strangely blurred...
Hope I didn't repeat "I'm sooo drunk"...

Think I had way too many Caipis & Rum n Cokes last night.

Just looked through the photos. Some classic stuff. Someones arse (and very shapely it was too), someone getting a BJ (allegedly), and lots more besides.

I am the wuss from Texas who didn't make it last night. Work was cancelled today so now I have no excuse for not going other than being stuck out here in the 'burbs.

Sounds like fun, I'll have to make it next time.

Well, I made it to Juleps alright last night, place was crammed and I never found you guys – I only had time for a quick one anyway, so I sat at the bar for 1/2 an hour hoping someone might recognize my pretty face, but it didn't happen and I had to leave early.

That's a pity. We were sitting down the back and were there till late...I think.

It was again one of those unexpected nights when it gets late, a lot of fun and very drunk... I suffered from a hangover for just about an hour... (slept until noon, so that's probably why)

I might be in too. I'm back in town and have also missed proper beer. I also have a German lesson until 6:30, which usually leaves me grumpy and thirsty.

STB, no problem for 1st timer, come along. I suppose keydeck and I are typically the easiest to spot due to our height; the Dutchies make us look short though (BTW, are you guys coming?).
