So, is this wahoo's and Keydeck private party or is one allowed to join in?

By the way, the Schnitzel in CADU is unbeatable...
What time is everyone getting there if wahoo is only coming at 9?
Keydeck

No Keydeck, I don't think I'll make it this evening unfortunately.

Where to tonight? Anyone going?
Jenny L
Jun 6 2006, 10:46 am
I'm going to be able to go to this. I'm a little out of the TT drink night loop, so I'm not sure what type of place to suggest. I personally like Lloyds in
Schwabing.
I have actually never been to one of these TT meeetups.
I would probably like to go tonight, but what kind of going out is this...few drinks...or heavy nightlife type of thing.

Depends if you are going with Jenny L, take a spare liver
Seriously, it's as heavy as you want it to be, just turn up and relax with friends for a couple of drinks or get dragged into the whirlpool of eniquity favoured by some of the more hardcore members

As Dave said, it's whatever you want it to be. There're usually a good mix of people out so you get to meet allsorts.

Not at all. There are many native English speakers who can barely string a coherent sentence together, especially after a few sherberts, so you'll have no problem.
I probably won't be going out tonight, but I'd suggest making it
Bavaria Bräu. If you make a booking for the high tables at the entrance then it's a good place for mixing & mingling. That's mingling, not minging. The food is good and the beer hits the spot nicely. TT Tuesday has been held there a couple of times in the past and have been great fun.

Jun 6 2006, 11:47 am
Just put your name onto the
sign-up page and then when a few people are down it's easy enough to arrange to meet. The list is important as it gives people an idea of how many will be about and often encourages more to join in.
If you do go Bavaria Bräu and book those tables I mentioned then it's an easy meeting point.
Keydeck
Jun 6 2006, 12:37 pm
I'll make the booking in a short while so please get your names in if you think you'll be going along.
I have just signed in. Has this is my first time...in a TT "meeting" I need to make the silly questions. How do I know who you are? I guess there will be no big sign for it

I'm sure if Keydeck is going he will put up a pic of him and since he is about 6' 11" and a bit you should notice him, failing that it needs one of the regs to take it on board.

M'kay, tables are booked for 19:30. It's the high tables just inside the door by the bar. Shouldn't be a problem getting more space if required.
The reservation is in the name Murphy, although there is a chance that it's under Mercy, Murcy or Merthy, sometimes it's difficult to tell

Magic 8 Ball says Tuesday is going to be the sunniest day of the week. Chinese Turm for some sunshine?
Lehel!
ps: Or is it silly to even bother with usual meetups during the WC? Tomorrow starts with
Togo vs. Korea or some such and Im torn between supporting my number 3 or 4 team (Togo), and/or showing my support for Why8 and Korea.

yes
edit: you edited. My yes is for Chinese Tower. I like sitting between the two screens and experiencing the time delay between the people yelling at the south one and then the slow northerners catching on...

Hey Showem, if you do go early, could you maybe take something along to designate the TT area? Make a big poster or wave a big Canadian flag or something?
I'd love to come early myself but I'm surely not going to be able to leave work before 6.30.

I'm aiming to arrive around 6:30 for WM action. It would be great if the early birds could snag seating in front of the screen. I don't imagine any difficulty in reshuffling between the two games so that we can all get a good view of the Brazil match at 21:00.
