Looks like I made the wrong executive decision. Should have chosen Murphys. Was trying to encourage people to go somewhere other the same old haunts you see. Oh well. Too late now.

I totally agree! I think that it is nice to go to new places and see 'German' places as well. In this case though I think people are being lazy . Including me.

I'm totally down for new places as well (Tatenbach not being one of them), but there is too much competition with all the Champions League football on tonight.

As usual, there will be Toss the Boss for an extra hour until 8pm for TT Tuesday tomorrow.

If anyone sees me come and say hello. I'm easy to spot as I wear a Barbour and carry an umbrella ("can't remember the password").

Given it's Fasching and all, we'll also sell Helles and Weissbier for €2 each to anyone in fancy dress (after toss the boss finishes).

But that means getting dressed up properly - more than just a clowns nose and a touch of face paint, which many Germans appear to think is fancy dress...

Well, considering I was planning on being at v-markt at the Fashing party at noon, and it's now 4pm and I'm still at work, I must say I'll definitely be hitting up The Arc tonight. I've come to terms with this debacle of an afternoon by drinking hellas by myself at my desk. See you there...

It seems like the timing has been off during this leg of the Champions League. I'll be at GMs tomorrow and recommend it as the TTT spot, even though we're going next week, too.

peridido - yep, Sendlinger Tor is the closest stop and it's at Müllerstrasse 42.

I would vote against any place that is showing some championship sports type of thingy. That ain't what TTT is about is it? It's about meeting and minglingling or am I minging? I'd do the Blue.

Same here although I might be a little bit late.

Deliberately so. It's hard to have a TT Tuesday in a place that's going to be packed with football fans. Obviously some people will want to watch Champion's league games, but we decided (along with Murphy's) to have TT Tuesday at other establishments during the games.

That way people can find seats and mingle properly when we do have TT Tuesday at The Arc or Murphy's, and you'll find that it will always be 'somewhere else' for the remainder of the games this season...

If it's Café Blue then I'll definitely show up, if a bit later - it's time I showed my face again...

Of course but mingling before, after, and during the game is possible. I know lots of people who won't miss the footie or rugby but are nonetheless quite social at the bar. Of course I'm just stirring up stuff because the hubbie and I are staying home and watching the footie on our TV so it doesn't matter where TT tuesday is.

I think we're watching it Wed night at The Arc if anyone wants to join us. Should get there about an hour before the game but won't be mingling so don't talk to us

As I've never met any of you are there an distinguishing features I should be looking out for to identify the TT crowd? Will someone be wearing a red carnation, bowler hat and carrying a copy of the times folded under their left arm?

Look for the group that is usually having the most fun and pisssing off management that is usually us...

The standard method seems to be go up to the most likely looking group and ask timidly "hey so are you guys with that Toytown thing?". Not that I will be drinking tonight, oh no, im working late instead.

Seems like there are some newbies showing up tonight. Too bad it coincides with Champions League, as attendance numbers will be down.
