molly's is more central than Bavaria Brau?
if you say so...

Well, maybe I shouldn't have said "central", I should have said "close to my office"!

Its nice and easy for everyone to get to.

Shamrock, they have Karaoke tonight.
I thought you were scared of karaoke? Or will you sing this time?

Somone make a decision and stick to it. Best line of action in these situations.

I give up, this is probably a sign I just need to go home and not drink. Y'all have fun.

Applications for the post of benevolent dictator required. Only line of action at midday on the day itself.

I think she was likening SiM to me for the comment he made about making a decision. I'm just sitting here with a smug grin on my face. It really is tough being so right so much of the time.
Note: Any accusations of arrogance, obnoxious behaviour, the recent "know-it-all without knowing it all" that I got from Benzinrot or other such ridiculous things will be treated with the scorn and derision that they so clearly deserve.

I won't be attending, but I will agree with Sarabyrd that Karaoke at Shamrock's is super fun. I have been there many a Tuesday Night before ever attending a TT event.

I might be tempted to come along if at Molly's! There is English Premier football tonight (Arsenal vs Man Utd) so I don't know if that will make it busier?

Yeah, it would. So if it's to be Molly's we'd need to reserve.

Mollies is OK for a small crowd, but a large TTT crowd won't work.. Esp. if they are showing any kind of footie.. Besides we always seem to go to the same places, I though the whole idea of moving around was to try NEW PLACES... So I say We forget the "Usual" watering holes and pick something that is NEW and can handle a large TTT crowd.

Jan 3 2006, 12:26 pm
you're outvoted, DK
anyway, we've had a large crowd at molly's before now, and it was just fine and dandy

Multilingo,
I'm pretty sure the screen name "Showem" was inspired after hearing "Come on! Showem!" or "Oh, Please, Please, Please, break out the twins! I won't even touch em, I just want to look"
So, I guess that means you got the wrong gender and body part.

Ooh, I'd be up for that. Despite the Ayinger it's usually good fun at the bar in there. Music trivia night. Although Jan 10th seems to be flagged as a GMs night so perhaps save HRC for the 17th?

You get used to the Ayinger taste after a while. However as fun as the place might be, the service is horrible!! We struggled getting drinks for 6 of us when it was empty, I honestly dont believe they could cope with a TT Tuesday.

Jan 9 2006, 6:00 pm
I think it'd be unfair to change it at this point. The Tuesday generally alternates every second week between Güthers &
The Arc. The weeks in between are filled with whatever people come up with as suggestions.
Used to be only Günthers. In fact I think it used to be only Jimbo.

Doesnt look like the game will be a sell out, Wigan are only expecting 11,000 fans. 900 of those will be Arsenal.

Jan 10 2006, 10:07 am
Well it is only the Carling Cup I suppose. Mind you, it is the only real chance The Arse will have of getting into Europe next year.
