if you want to go to this meeting on a Tuesday, do you have to sign up somewhere? I mean, are seats limited? Whatever - I'm coming. If there's no space left I'll sit on someone's knee.

talking about real-bayern, nearly had some tickets to the match, although they were €65, i had to pass..i mean that at least 2 days of boarding! priorities..

Well, for me, I'd like Bayern to lose, just so that my work colleagues don't get too big headed. They seem to think that German football is one of the best, as as Bayern have won the Bundersliga so many times, that makes Bayern one of the best teams in Europe.

I coughed up my lungs and my voice box last night... no partying all week for me.

Think everyone's in need of a rest. I also won't make it this evening, got back late from Frankfurt, then had about 4 hours sleep, and had to get into the office.

can't predict whether I gonna be able to get out of work early. Prob with footy is it can really pack out GM - to the extent that they don't let people in the door. That removes the point of going there - to be able to mingle and meet peeps. Anybody got any suggestions for somewhere else?

If you want Irish pub stylee then Kilian's is your only man. Plenty of bar space and you have the added benefit of Ned Kelly's for the overflow.

So I am travelling again tomorrow, this time am off to Aschaffenburg so staying in Germany. As I will be back a little late, is there any general opinion for a meet-up ? Then I can join you around 9:30pm.

Just a suggestion. If we do go to GM's tomorrow night should we reserve a big table? I am very opposed to standing at the bar when it's at capacity.

You will probably struggle to get served even then. The last time they were full from the footy, the girls couldnt get through the crowd at the bar to serve the tables.

It is a special flag night so all Boro supporters will be even more flag-mad than usual and the Cup will be taken around the stadium before kickoff.
No Danny Mills though and we've been playing crap at home this season (which is unusual, we are usually terrible away).

Proper football? Nothing, and while I came to Europe with an open mind about it, I've resigned myself to the fact that I just don't care for it and never will (and as a result I'll give you guys the occasional razzing).

I prefer watching the leafs vs the penguins personally...
