There was a suggestion made by a couple of people recently of going to
Spektakl.
Anyone up for that? They've got a real-life, honest-to-goodness, indoor rain storm thing going on. Certainly something a little different.
I didn't see this before..so now I change my vote to Spektakl.

Outland always has a ton of sports games on when I've been there. So chances are, whatever sport you mean when you say "footie" with that brit accent, it's on there.
Very easy to find. Get off at Rosenheimer Platz S-Bahn, on the central line even. Walk to Weissenburger Platz where there is often a big fountain, right now the preliminary stages of a Christmas market. Take a right and about 1/8 of the way around the Platz is Outland Aussie Bar.

It's been a fun dictactorship so far. Keydeck's suggestions for Tuesdays have always been really good.
So I vote for Spektakl.
Or at least I vote negative for
The Arc and Murphys, pleeeeeeeeeease.

If this thread proves anything it's that all you have to do is name a time and a place and you're sorted. Suggestions and discussions are all well and good but they rarely get the job done. Sure it's good to hear where people think is nice and sometimes you even find out about places you've never heard of, but from what I've seen of these Tuesdays sessions specifically it's better if someone just comes out and says, "Here it is and this is the address.".
So for Haidhausen-type events just go for it. There's a load of great bars which would be suitable for a TT Tuesday in
Haidhausen. Select one, set a time and date and you're done.

That was a good night although the 9 Helles I apparently had have taken their toll today. We were about 17 people or thereabouts in all.
Most were fairly underwhelmed by the thunder storm which kicked off at about 21:30. Ah well, I thought it was just grand.
Had a good feed of
Tiroler Gröstl which was very tasty and filling if a touch on the oily side. A good option for only €6.90.
It seemed that many people had a bit of a problem getting there but as far as we know everyone made it in the end.
As always, nice to meet some new faces and hopefully we've not completely scared them away from further Toytown meetups.
Oh and Jimbo, I took care of that little request for you

Ha! That's what it's called! Finally I get it. Thanks Keydeck.
It was a very nice night indeed. 4 new faces showed up and it was very nice meeting 3 of them (I didn't talk to one of them).
I wasn't too impressed by the place though, sorry Keydeck. Kind of an older crowd and the waitresses looked very mean (kind of scary actually).
But the food was good, and the TT crowd was very entertaining as always.
@Keydeck:
9 Helle??? Good thing you also had a water!

For tomorrow night drinks, we'll be doing Toss the Boss for an extra hour (like last time).

Hey,
Im new to tt, and was thinking about coming to the drinks thing tomorrow after my language school.. Just wondered who all goes and I was wondering what the average age of people were... not that age matters at all. Its just I got the impression that I was really young for being on tt- 21?
Keydeck
Nov 28 2005, 2:08 pm
Ach yer nowt but a bairn!
I'm not sure about the average age as it varies from night to night depending on who's about. Generally it'll be mid to late twenties but there are always people on the far ends of the scale. I'm almost on the far, far end.
From the
Active Members page the current breakdown of people who've entered their age is as follows:
QUOTE
Aged teens: 21
Aged twenties: 289
Aged thirties: 201
Aged forties: 37
Aged fifty-plus: 2
So that'll give you a rough idea of the spread.
Will be in
The Arc tomorrow night. Looking forward to seeing a few peeps and tossing the boss. I've still yet to win at that.
Toss the Boss: Buy a beer, wine or soft-drink and toss a coin. If you call correctly, your drink is free!

The bad news is that I won't be there tonight. The good news is that I have gotten surprisingly adept at finding
