Yeah, I'd put my money on Winglette too... wink.gif Sorry Tiffy!...but you and BSF's boyband didn't quite make it as far as I can remember... laugh.gif
HollyGolightly

leila
new in münchen, would like to go. might be a bit late, german lessons (pft).

how do i know who you are? or shall i walk about asking random people if they're from Toytown...
Keydeck
Yes, that's what most people do. That or ask at the bar. They usually know the group and if they're not feeling too mischievous will point you in the right direction.

It's time for GeorgiaGirl to pay her part of the deal.

I'm sorry, I've got other plans tonight. But I promise to uphold our deal, at some point - in the meantime I am sure streeme will be happy to spring for the wedges wink.gif

I guess I still have to go now and drink beer instead; life is hard.

QUOTE (arshoo @ Nov 14 2005, 8:38 pm) *
course DW should be on!! bet u winglette is a better partner for a duet than tif

Oh no, DW is on his own! (You know, he's been secretly practicing some Justin Timberlake songs at home. Tonight may be the night to go public biggrin.gif )
TexasTornado
Yepper doo Toytown!

You had better sing or shall do my country & western version of the Bamboo Bungalow Song. Painfull on the ears and eyes.
arshoo
DW and Jtimberlake!! biggrin.gif
DW u got the moves man, i am ready to cry me a river while laughing out loud...
Jimbo
DW is too gay acting to pull of Justin Timberlake, if you'll pardon the pun.
clepto
@Jimbo laugh.gif
Maybe he should do something by Britney then.

or Robbie Williams ph34r.gif

@DW: I'll pay you a beer if you get on stage an perform "I'm not a girl, not yet a Woman"
TexasTornado
WOO! F...ing HOO! Jimbo is still in town???

yi yi yippy yi yay! I thought I had missed you!

This should prove to be a most memorable Tt Tuesday afterall!

Should be a huge turnout as well since GM's is home of the Original Tt Tuesday
Jimbo
Ahem, no, I'm in London - just posting insults aimed at DW wherever I find the opportunity I'm afraid...
tuca
@ Jimbo - were you there when he sang Madonna!?!?
Jimbo
Sadly not that I remember - but I don't really remember much of any night spent in GMs the truth be told. Rumour has it that Don Riina and I sang 'Rabbit' by Chas n Dave a couple of times, but I'm sure that that's just a malicious lie.
Rus
Shit now I know its karaoke I will definitely be there!
tuca
yepp, "Rabbit" is a favourite of yours... if I am not mistaken, you have done it with Pascoe as well... class!!!
pepper
Yep, I remember the first time when he sung it with Pascoe, and well classic is being kind !
Jimbo
Oh yeah. I some to recall singing it with Pascoe after Spurs drew with the Gooners at White Hart Lane to win the Premiership.
DanGer MouSE
erm, think ill come along too..Cant miss the opportunity to hit the stage.. blink.gif

DM
DrivinWest
Eff all y'all mofos!
HollyGolightly
laugh.gif someone will have to record it so I can see the show
don_riina
I really fancy a good old skool GM's tuesday night of alcohol fuelled mayhem, but not tonight I don't think. Incorporate a tuesday night into your next visit please Mr Jimbo.
DrivinWest
@ don_riina

You should come. Everybody else chime in.
jml
Ah go on Don. Soon it'll be snowing and you won't be arsed to leave your cosy house, beyootiful bird and bitching hund to watch DW gyrate to Crawlie's lip singing "i'm too sexy for my shirt" or whatever...
Keydeck
Come on Don. Get your arse in gear! Tuesday drinks, Badger on TV and Crawlie running the tunes later on.
Jimbo

Naturally Don Marco - I'll make that a priority. Somebody sing 'Rabbit' in my absence will they? I reckon DW would be perfect for it...
Manimal
anyone got any ideas of a location for tomorrow?

I know some people may want to watch the european football matches - so maybe go to a sports bar etc... other than murphys or The Arc for a change?

Any ideas?
Keydeck
There was a suggestion made by a couple of people recently of going to Spektakl.

Anyone up for that? They've got a real-life, honest-to-goodness, indoor rain storm thing going on. Certainly something a little different.
AnthonyDoesEurope
I would like to add Unionsbräu to the list of suggestions. Loved the beer there.
Darkknight
Andechs am Dom... Near Ned Kellys/Kilians (For Those To Lazy to walk up the Mountain in Winter) biggrin.gif
Outland, would also be good...

Is that the place at Max Weber Platz? Please, let's not go there. I was there once with a group of 10 and at one point waited exactly 1 hour for a beer.

Outback, would also be good...

Never heard of that. Unless you mean Outland...

Funny how one bad experience like that, and you never want to go back. My 1 experience was good.
Chicago
I vote Haidhausen:
- Molly Malone's
- Outland
- Augustiner-whatever-its-called by Ostbahnhof

if you want to watch the footie, then Molly's is the best option of the above.

that's my €0.02
Darkknight
@Chicago
True, and they got great Fish & Chips...
BUT, if they are showing footie, they get very packed and there becomes
little/no room for a Massive TT Tuesday Crowd.. I like the place, but it's
just too small for Footie and TT Tuesday..
perdido
Where is Molly Malones? What section of town?
Darkknight
5 min walk from the Rosenheimerplatz S-Bahn Station

Kellerstrasse 21
Haidhausen

yea, it can get a bit crowded, depending on who is playing. 2 TVs though...

Yeah, 10 meters from my front doorstep...I could crawl home if need be smile.gif

Seriously, tho, I've found that the place is absolutely packed this time of year. May be too tight for TT drinks, and they may show soccer too (they have a big screen and a small TV).

Augustiner Haidhauser. It's also usually verdammt Laut. The times I've been there (5 or 6) it was nearly impossible to have a conversation without going hoarse. And more smoky than usual (if that's possible in Germany).

Might be able make it this week! So, go for Malone's or Outland ;-)

The place is one of my Stammkneipen, so I am bit biased wink.gif but what you say is def. true. It's superloud and supersmoky, no question.
sk8rgrl
What about glockenspeil cafe...It doesnt have footie (sorry) but I wonder if we could reserve a big spot there huh.gif
Crawlie
No Footie??? That's fighting talk that is...
Keydeck
I think I've said before that I'm a big fan of a fair dictatorship. Otherwise you just end up with a situation whereby everyone gives their suggestions and nobody makes a decision.

I could have just set a time and named a place and gone with it but I've organised a couple of the TT Tuesdays and it's not fair if the same person keeps sticking their oar in.

So, would someone pick an appropriate location and just roll with it.
Darkknight
Time to ask Bob "The Fair Dictator", to jump in and make a ruling then..

Who will it be this week...

Gunther Murphys
The Arc
Spektakl
Unionsbräu
Andechs am Dom (The Resturant, not the mountain)
Outland
Molly Malone's
Augustiner Haidhauser
Glockenspeil cafe

Further Options won't be counted.. This is the list..No More
TexasTornado
Och! and we didn't even make it on the list? Well, that would mean I will either be at The Arc, because it is my local or here at home, which is my job.
Darkknight
Sorry TT, Can't win'em all... sad.gif

Maybe we'll bring the Curry/Sushi crew over for some "drunken debauchery".. biggrin.gif
Manimal
shall we just make it The Arc then as everyone knows where it is and nobody wants to wonder around in the cold looking for somewhere?
