Hum, I could bribe you guys to meet at my place at say, 17:00 and then head out at 18:45 for the O-fest. Let me see, how about a basket of chips and a 0.5 Oktoberfest for €3,50? Mention Toytown Munich and get a liter of Oktoberfest for €4,50 between 17:00 - 19:00
Not gonna post where, you just have to know.

@Crawlie
Pride has nothing to do with it...
I don't like O'Fest, and will never go... With or without TT'ers
Why should I have to pay 8Eur for a mass only to have to sit in a lound, smoke filled tent to enjoy it.. A local pub or beer garden is much better. The beer is cheaper, not so smoke filled (Depends on Pub), and you can actually hear the other people your with as opposed to yelling back and forth...

Actually wrong. The music is so bloody quiet this year that you can hear everybody speak...

Sorry Roots. it's a bit early I know. I was just wondering if that curly hair was of the "bursting from her trousers" or "standing on his head" variety.
What happened to her belly button...looks liked its been nearly shopped out. I want to know if its an inny or an outie dammit.

I wasn't sure about going to the Hofbräu after reading this
Which Oktoberfest tent is best?I had a fun time, only real problem was the benches were too close together and people kept knocking each other over. Great to hear the band doing Blues Brothers numbers.
Thanks Andrew for getting the table.
Did someone carry streeme home or did he manage to get back by himself?

Was a good night except that I was the individual in question who fell over (twice!) Talk about injured dignity.
BTW - I cannot seem to find my digital camera and fear it was left behind at Hofbräu. Did any of the crew that was there last night happen to see it or pick it up?

I also thought it was a great night.
@ Exile
My pleasure getting the table but I must point out that Xargon was with me as well and hence also deserves credit. We basically visited tents until we had some luck with a table.
I had to admire the audacity of the kids who came and sat behind us. The oldest were at most 16 and some of them looked no older 12. I remember from my own experience of going into pubs as a underage drinker that if there is a group of you, you can not afford to have even one person who is conspicuously underage , cos then the whole gets attention.
I did have to laugh at the bouncer who asked me if I was the father of one of the kids on the other table.
The music was great there, and to be honest I think that the
Hofbrauhaus has been unjustly slagged off on the basis of last nights experience. I do not know what happened to Streeme, I think he did go with a couple of other tters. I was one of the last two to leave.
by the way did anyone lose their digital camera?

Sorry did not find your glasses, I would have already posted if I had done so, and as for saving girls stuff, hey this is not the adult thread you know.
AS for the other thing about fighting like a girl with a girl, well sorry but yes you were, and over something that I had bought and then given to that girl.

It is very inconsiderate to want to go to the Oktoberfest, just because it only comes round once a year, last only two weeks and is one of the biggest and most famous beer festivals in the world, and we only have fifty other weeks in the year to try other places.
Ps I am being sarcastic, it doesn't pay to assume people can realise that on their own.

A suggestion, how about the Pschorr Keller beside the Wiesn (Theresienhöhe 7)? Popped a head in there on Saturday evening. They've recently done the place up and it looks great. I'd fancy going there tomorrow after work for a few.
So for anyone who doesn't want to go Oktoberfest, well you won't be, and for anyone who does, well it's right beside the place.
